After a day on the local beach, a beautiful sandy cove 5 minutes' stroll away, return to your fully air conditioned second floor apartment with its light wood, ocean colours and Cypriot ceramics. Perhaps sip an evening drink on the balcony with sea views, or prepare an evening meal in the fully fitted kitchen using local produce and bread from 'Sundays' own bakery. Alternatively stroll down the street to one of the local family owned restaurants, or take a cab further afield to the night life of Protaras and Agia Napa. In the morning take a dip in the large pool, enclosed on four sides, with cloisters providing shade around the edge. If you're feeling more adventurous, the Troodos Mountains, which have snow in winter, or Nicosia, Cyprus' historic divided capital city, are a couple of hours drive away.

Notes on accommodation
The property is fully air-conditioned/heated and has its own allocated parking space. It is located on bus routes to Paralimni, Protaras and Agia Napa, and the apartment is fully accessible by lift from the ground floor to the apartment door. The apartment is no smoking. Its location makes it ideal for couples and families wanting a quieter holiday but with easy access to major nightlife and all the facilities a busy town and tourist resorts can offer. 'Sundays' contains its own bakery and there is a supermarket across the road. Along the street are a select few local restaurants and bars, including a traditional Cypriot taverna. All the usual facilities such as banks and other services can be found in Paralimni, Protaras or Agia Napa.

Accessibility
There is lift access from the pool level to outside the apartment door.
Outside
Much larger than average pool for the use of guests only: 3 pool loungers and cushions are provided as well as a balcony table and 4 chairs. The pool is enclosed on 4 sides and has cloisters for shade around the edge. Unlike most apartment pools, 'Sundays' pool is large enough for exercise/swimming laps if desired.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes leisurely walk to the nearest beach, which is a sandy cove with crystal clear water. A further 5-10 minutes walk around the coast path will bring you to 2 more beautiful small bays, one with a little harbour and church and the other with a small scuba diving school. It is 10 or 15 minutes drive to famous resort beaches such as Nissi beach. There are further scuba diving schools in both Agia Napa and Protaras, as well as the range of water sports.
Travel
Larnaca is 40 minutes by car: airport transfers can be arranged or a car hired at the airport.The beach and local restaurants are easily reached on foot, and Paralimni, Protaras and Agia Napa by a half hourly bus service. However with a hire car it is possible to enjoy more of Cyprus such as the Troodos Mountains and historic Nicosia. There are 3 small car hire firms along the street from the apartment. A selection of tourist information and maps of all areas are provided for guests use.
Distances
Paralimni, a real Cypriot town, is a few miles inland and 10 minutes by car. It has a beautiful church square and many traditional family owned restaurants, boutiques and shops. The major tourist resorts of Protaras and Agia Napa are respectively 10 and 15 minutes along the coast by car. Lefkosia (Nicosia), the historic divided capital city of Cyprus is 1 hour 30 minutes drive away; it is two hours to the Troodos Mountains or to Paphos in the west of Cyprus.

It can be expensive to fly to Cyprus at certain times of the year: However please try the following carriers for flight-only deals on chartered flights: First Choice, Libra, Olympic, Argo, Eurocypria. 'Skyscanner' is a useful flight search site for Cyprus.
Flight-only deals are not generally advertised and may only be released at a certain time - it is well worth checking the above companies for possible deals.
Booking notes
The prices quoted are inclusive of air conditioning, heating, linen and towels. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking and the final balance is due 8 weeks before departure. A fully refundable security deposit of £100 is required with the final payment. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Transfers to and from Larnaca airport can be arranged.
