The apartment is situated on the south east coast of Cyprus in the coastal village of Kapparis, between the inland town of Paralimni and the resort of Protaras. Brand new, it is on the first floor overlooking the pool. During the summer, the veranda has direct sun for most of the day and into the evening. Kapparis is an up-and-coming and picturesque area. If you want the best of both worlds - lounging on the beach or by the pool by day but with plenty of nightlife nearby should you want it, then it's definitely for you. A wonderful pool with changing rooms and showers is on site and a selection of bars, excellent restaurants and several sandy beaches are all within easy walking distance.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, but vacation of the apartment must be by noon on the day of departure. Occupation is from 14:00 on day of arrival. Early or late departure/arrival can usually be made by arrangement, but please check with us first.

Bedrooms: In the double bedroom there are large, built in wardrobes and a dressing table, plus a hairdryer! You can also access the veranda through sliding glass doors from the bedroom. The luxury leather sofabed in the lounge will comfortably sleep two adults.
Bathrooms: The bathroom is beautifully finished to a high standard, and includes a shower.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster etc. You will also find a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Cutlery, crockery, glassware, and cooking utensils are all provided.
Living Rooms: The interior comprises an open plan kitchen/dining area, lounge, double bedroom and bathroom, with a veranda overlooking the pool and sunbathing area. There is a TV, DVD player, quality sound system, CDs and a selections of DVDs, books etc.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and bed linen are provided and the apartment will be fully prepared prior to your arrival. Please bring your own beach towels. Additional mid-let cleans with change of linen can be arranged for a small additional cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
If you have any special requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to help. A comprehensive information pack containing directions to the apartment, keys and lots of general information about the area, will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed. You can order a welcome pack of basic provisions (tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam water etc) ready for your arrival, to get you off to a great start. Costs from £5 according to content, please inquire when booking. We can also supply a cot should you need it, for a small additional charge.

Outside
On the veranda you will find a table, chairs and a great view over the pool. The pool area is tastefully landscaped with palm trees and shrubs, a waterfall and plenty of space for sunbathing, along with showers, changing rooms and toilets. For your peace of mind, there is also a children's pool next to the main pool, so you can keep a close eye on your kids. The apartment also has dedicated undercover parking to keep your car in the shade and cool.

Coast/Beach
There are a number of sandy beaches within easy walking distance, the nearest being Fireman's Cove. If you follow the Kapparis coast through Pernera towards Protaras, you will discover plenty of other excellent beaches, all with golden sand and crystal clear waters. Fig Tree Bay at Protaras is renowned for having the best beaches on the island and is only a 5 minute drive away. A 10 minute drive takes you to the more lively Nissi Beach at Aiya Napa, with its beachfront bars and DJs.

Golf
Golfing is available at the various courses in the Paphos area. Courses are excellent and green fees very cheap compared to the rest of Europe.

Special interest holidays
Cyprus is fantastic for walking/cycling holidays throughout the year, the area has miles of cycle paths and bikes are very inexpensive to hire locally. Scuba Diving is widely available for those that are already qualified or wish to learn. The waters are clear and warm, with several excellent dive sites including the world famous Zenobia wreck. Horse riding is available nearby and boat fishing can be arranged from Ayia Napa Harbour.

Travel
It takes approximately 40 mins easy driving from Larnaca airport or around 2 hrs from Paphos. We can make arrangements for transfers to and from the airport, the cost is approx €45 each way (from Larnaca), based on a maximum of 4 people, payable at the time. Please advise us at the time of booking if you require this service and our agents will contact you direct to confirm flight details. Please note that it is then your responsibility to advise our agents of any changes to flight times.

Distances
Pretty much everything you need is right on your doorstep in Kapparis. If you fancy exploring a little, the lively resort of Protaras, which offers a wide array of restaurants, nightlife and award-winning beaches is just 5 minutes away, whilst Ayia Napa with its many clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Nissi Beach and Waterpark, is a 10 minute drive. The traditional Cypriot town of Paralimni is a 2 mins drive and Larnaca is around 40 mins away.

Further details
There is a mini-supermarket located just round the corner from the apartment which stocks a good range of essential provisions and newspapers, as well as a 24hr bakery (with some excellent cakes!) nearby. This can be very useful, particularly if you are arriving in the early hours of the morning! You will also find a large supermarket, pharmacy etc within a 2 minute drive. There is a wide range of tavernas and restaurants in Kapparis and the surrounding area. The main street, Kennedy Avenue has a number of excellent restaurants and bars catering for all tastes, some with live entertainment.
As well as plenty of watersports available on many of the beaches, there are a host of activities from bungee jumping, scuba diving and horse riding to boat trips and trekking in the Troodos Mountains. With its wealth of history, there are also many tours centred around the local Cypriot crafts, historical sites and ruins. You can also take a coach trip to one of the largest markets, in Larnaca. Local buses run every half hour in season, cost only 50p for any distance and you can walk to the bus stop.

Booking notes
Booking is easy - please view the availability calendar and contact us with the details so that we can reserve your dates. A 25% deposit is required within 5 days to secure your booking. The deposit is non refundable if the booking is cancelled by the client. Final balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure date. A £100 (GBP) security deposit is also payable upon booking which will be refunded 7 days after departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.
