'Golfers Villa' was constructed in 1992 is a modern sumptuous villa providing everything you could wish for on that special 'get away from it all holiday'. The villa boasts 4 luxurious double bedrooms with en suite facilities and separate showers. All bedrooms lead onto the upper balconies. 2 sitting rooms and a very large well equipped kitchen lead to the lower balconies which in turn lead to the pool. The swimming pool is 20ft x 40ft. A wall surrounds the pool area, affording safety for children and complete privacy. Inspiring views can be enjoyed from the pool area and adjacent balconies. The villa is 3 mins drive from Kyrenia town. Golfers Villa lies on the west side of Kyrenia towards Alsancak. On arrival all clients are met at the airport and transferred directly to the villa.

Coast/Beach
The coast is about 1 mile away. One of Northern Cyprus' best beaches, Escape Beach, is about 15 mins drive away.
Golden Beach is located at the end of the Karpas Peninsular and is generally recognised as being one of the best beaches in the world. It is a long drive from Kyrenia but well worth it. Best to start early and make a day of it.

Korineum Golf & Country Club - opened April 2007
Situated to the east of Kyrenia on the coast at the foot of the Five Finger Mountain in Esentepe, the stunning Korineum Golf & Country Club is the first full 18 hole golf course in Northern Cyprus. The course has been created amongst a natural forest of Umbrella Pines and Olive trees. The course has views of the Mediterranean Sea on one side, and the famous Five Finger Mountain range on the other.

18 hole international standard golf course, par 72.
The course is 6,232m in length and is designed for golfers of all standards and ages. The Paspalum playing surface is maintained in excellent condition throughout the year, and has strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.

Special interest holidays
The area around Kyrenia is ideal for walking and hiking for people of all ages and abilities. The most popular routes are in the Kyrenia Mountain range.
The waters surrounding Northern Cyprus make for some of the best scuba diving in the world.
The oldest commercial shipwreck was found a few miles from Kyrenia Harbour (Dated 300 BC) and is now displayed in the castle museum in Kyrenia.
Paragliding is a relatively new sport but the geography of Northern Cyprus is well suited to the sport.
There are 2 excellent go karting tracks in Nicosia, about half an hour's drive from the villa.
There are several centres for horse riding.
Mountain Bikes can be hired in Kyrenia.
Travel
Northern Cyprus is served by Ercan airport which is about 45 mins drive from Villa Maniola. Alternatively, you can fly into Southern Cyprus and travel to the North. Larnaca Airport is about 1 hour 30 mins drive from Golfers Villa.
Distances
The nearest town is Kyrenia, this contains excellent supermarkets and restaurants. The town is famous for its horse shoe shaped harbour. Bellapais Abbey is about 15 mins by car.
Further details
Northern Cyprus is unique in that is is relatively close to Europe, but has been overlooked by the tourist industy for many years and is consequently one of the few places in the Mediterranean where day to day life seems to have stood still for the past 30 years. Now with Southern Cyprus a member of the EU and border restrictions between the North and South being relaxed, Northern Cyprus is back on the tourist map. In truth, it had never really gone away, but the wider perception of a 'closed community' meant that it was generally over looked and ignored. A small contingent of tourists from Europe, including many from the UK have in fact been visiting the Northern part of Cyprus for many years and have enjoyed their secret.
Today, visiting Northern Cyprus is a real joy. It brings back memories of Mediterranean holiday destinations before the arrival of large scale commercial tourism and all that entails. In contrast to some of the main coastal towns in the South, Kyrenia, the major tourist destination in the North, is a small peaceful harbour town. Kyrenia has numerous bars and restaurants and a fascinating history as witnessed by the Venetian harbour front buildings, its medieval fort and numerous ancient buildings.
