Eirene is a spacious well cared for apartment. The owners live nearby should any help be required. It has air conditioning / heating units in all main rooms (included in the price) and is bright and airy. One in a block of 6 it is comfortable and spacious and the private balcony has stunning panoramic views. Pissouri is a very friendly village and has a lot to offer those on vacation. There is a good choice of eating places, banks, supermarkets and butchers. It has an ampitheatre which hosts many events, including an International Folk Dance Festival during July with free admission to all. Down in Pissouri Bay you can take part in watersports or just relax and sunbathe. There is a golf course within a 20 mins drive and others a little further afield. During the snowy months it is possible to ski in the Troodos. There are many archeological sites worth visiting. As the village is only 10 mins drive to the motorway it makes Pissouri an ideal spot to visit all parts of the island.

| Bedrooms: |
Bedroom 1 has air conditioning/heating and has a large double bed, and is directly off the balcony - wonderful to wake up to the morning sun. It has shutters and fly screen.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, air-conditioning/heating, shutters and fly screen. |
| Bathrooms: |
Bathroom is adjacent to both bedrooms and has a full sized bath with shower over. WC and wash hand basin and storage cupboard. We also supply a hairdryer. |
| Kitchen: |
The fully fitted kitchen contains a full sized oven, hob and extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven and toaster. Matching saucepans, crockery and glasses. It also has a cool box and picnic equipment. |
| Living Rooms: |
The air conditioned, large, bright, airy lounge/diner, has views over land and sea and leads onto the balcony. It has a ceiling fan, TV, 2 comfortable settees and a lounger chair with foot rest. The dining table adequately seats 4 people. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
All linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are provided, and a second set is provided for bookings of 2 weeks or more. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned, by ourselves, between each booking. |
Notes on accommodation
We have a non-smoking policy in the apartment but smoking is allowed on the balcony.
We provide a starter pack comprising bread, spread, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cereal and homemade jam/marmalade in season, to make a restful beginning to your holiday.
Extra shopping items can be provided if requested early enough. There would be a charge for these extra items.
As this is a first floor apartment children should be supervised whilst on the balcony.

Accessibility
A handrail is provided on the steps up to the apartment which itself is all on 1 level.
Outside
The balcony has a dining table, 4 chairs with cushions and sun umbrella. It is not overlooked and has stunning panoramic views overland and sea.
The communal swimming pool is often quiet and open usually from May - October depending on the weather. Maintenance is undertaken by the residents' association and no responsibility can be taken for any period of temporary unavailability.
Coast/Beach
Pissouri Bay (a Blue Flag Beach) is approximately 10 minutes by car and you can have your lunch or evening meal by the sea shore listening to the waves gently lapping on the beach. Water sports are available for those with the energy or why not just lie back and relax. There are many other beaches just a little further afield.
Golf
There is about a 20 minute drive to Aphrodite Hills and the Secret Valley golf courses, both championship standard.
There are also golf courses in Paphos and Limassol.
Travel
Paphos Airport is just under 30 minutes away and Larnaca Airport is approximately 80 minutes away. The roads to both airports are normally not busy.
As there is so much to see on the island, car hire is recommended. We drive on the left hand side of the road which makes life a little easier for the UK driver.
Distances
Pissouri Village centre is about a 10 mins walk away, but there is free car parking in the village if you wish to drive. Pissouri is roughly equidistant between the cities of Paphos and Limassol.
Paphos (archaeological sites and famous mosaics) is about 35 minutes by car). Limassol is slightly further. A 45 mins drive brings you to the foothills of the Troodos Mountains, pretty villages, vineyards and breathtaking views. Savour the fresh mountain air as you enjoy al fresco food and wine.
Further details
Pissouri is a thriving village though it often looks sleepy. There are 3 banks, 2 supermarkets, fruit and veg shop, butchers, bakers, post office, gift shops, estate agents and a modern amphitheatre which provides a variety of entertainment. There are a very good selection of tavernas and restaurants and on Wednesday evenings in the summer months, "Cyprus Nights" are held in the square during which traditional music and dancing is performed. On Cyprus Nights the tavernas in the Square provide buffet meals at reasonable cost and you can eat as much as you can!
Booking notes
Payment - a 25% (non-refundable) deposit on booking, the balance a minimum of 6 weeks before departure.
*Note: the rate charged will be pro-rata, so that bookings that span two calendar months will depend on the number of days booked in each month.
