This delightful village house has been lovingly restored and furnished by the owners who have used it as their holiday home for the past 20 years. The house is situated in the village of Zeytinlik below St. Hilarion Castle and just outside the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia. The villa, with marble floors, plastered 2-foot thick stone walls and 2 fireplaces combines modern amenities with traditional features such as the old Cyprus arch in the large second sitting room and an upstairs "harem room" bedroom with spectacular views of the sea and (on a clear day) Turkey. Relax while in residence with the large selection of books and games or listen to music on the cassette/CD player. The property is managed by an experienced and friendly local company. Our manager will arrange transfers to and from the airport and can provide a rental car (recommended).

Prices are for the villa per week (up to 4 people) in UK Pounds. For more than 4 people add £50 per person per week.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with 2 double beds and connected bathroom. Bedroom 2 with 1 double and 1 singe bed. Bedroom 3 "harem room" on second floor with divan that separates into 2 twin matresses and balcony overlooking the courtyard. |
| Bathrooms: | Large bathroom with bath and wc connected to Bedroom 1 and accessible from courtyard. Second bathroom is a converted sauna with shower and wc. |
| Kitchen: | New, as of October '07, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, microwave (10/07), toaster, iron and ironing board. Also has small breakfast table and fireplace. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room in main house has stereo and fireplace - perfect for cozy evenings in cooler weather. Large, airy Arch Room next to Bedroom 1 looks out on the orchard has been set up as a library. |
| Other: | Separate dining room seats 8 and is often the site for long sessions over board games or jigsaw puzzles. In nice weather meals are usually taken outside on the patio/courtyard. There is private parking for 2-3 cars behind the house. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
A welcome pack is provided on arrival and all linens and towels are included. The villa is cleaned before and after visit. Guests can make arrangements for additional cleaning with management company. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa has air conditioning/heating units in 2 of the 3 buildings and ceiling fans in most of the rooms. There are also several portable fans and heaters. Small and active children should be supervised as there is a ladder leading up to the upstairs harem room and a balcony overlooking the courtyard.

Accessibility
Every room except for the harem room is on the ground floor. There are 2 steps leading to a slightly raised portion of the patio, but both sections of the patio are accessible by a separate gate from the outside.
Outside
Large enclosed courtyard patio, mature garden and orchard. Tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
Coast/Beach
A large number and variety of public and private beaches to the east and west of Kyrenia. Ranging from elegant hotel facilities with restaurants and amusements for children, to wild deserted coves perfect for snorkeling. Day-long boat tours leave from Kyrenia, taking passengers down the coast, stopping for swimming and lunch.
Golf
New 18-hole golf course 16km east of Kyrenia opened in December 2006. Restaurant and additional leisure facilities available. Trolleys and clubs available for hire.
Travel
The villa is a 30 minute drive from Ercan airport in Nicosia and approximately 60 minutes from Larnaca airport in the South. Taxis are available, but a hire car is essential. Our manager will arrange transport to/from the airport to check you into the house.
Distances
The house is in the centre of the village of Zeytinlik which has a selection of restaurants and a small market. Kyrenia is a 5 minute drive away. There is a large supermarket (Astro) at the bottom of the road which accepts credit cards. The nearest beaches are 10 minutess away. Belapais Abbey is 10 minutes away, as is the hauntingly beautiful St. Hilarion Castle.
Further details
Payment can be made in Turkish Lira or Sterling. The large supermarkets, and many restaurants will accept credit cards. There are many exchange bureaus in Kyrenia (bring your passport) and the bank machines usually work (but not always!)
Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.
Balance is due 6-8 weeks prior to arrival.
A £100 refundable security deposit is also required with final payment.
