Coast/Beach
5 minutes drive to award winning sandy Pyla beach which is safe for children with shallow calm waters. Life guards. Volley ball nets. Play ground. Bars and restaurants. Larnaca beach 15 minutes drive. Famous Nissi beach 30 minutes drive. Plus a number of beautiful beaches all around the coast line accessible by car. Water sports available at most beaches.
Skiing
Skiing available during the winter months in the Troodos mountains which is only an hour and a half drive away. Skiing equipment can be hired on arrival at Troodos. There is also an area for sledging.
Travel
Larnaca airport is a 20 minute drive. You can hire cars directly from the airport or a taxi will cost approx £20 to Pyla. Paphos airport is about one and a half hours away. Car hire is highly recommended.
Distances
Pyla village is a 10 minute walk. Seafront and Dhekelia road 5 minutes by car. Larnaca 15 minutes by car. Ayia Napa, Nissi beach and water park 30 minutes. Oriklini 5 minutes drive. Limassol is approximately an hours drive, and Paphos one and a half hours.
Further details
There are a couple of well stocked shops and a few restaurants within walking distance, in the village of Pyla. Within 5 minutes by car is the Dhekelia Road, offering a vast choice of restaurants, shops and the local beach. Banks can be found on the Dhekelia Road and in Larnaca. Oriklini is the neighbouring village which has several tavernas, restaurants, banks and a pharmacy. Pyla is ideally situated for exploring this fabulous island and it's ancient history. The incredible Tomb of the Kings and Anthrodite's Rock in Paphos, to the amazing Kourion amphitheatre and ruins with a background of breathtaking views, Koukos monastery in the Troodos Mountains, and the outstanding beauty of Cape Greko - all are easily accessible for a memorable visit. Boat trips and diving are available locally from both Ayia Napa and Larnaca.

Prices are in UK pounds. £100 deposit is required to secure dates. Final payment is due 8 weeks before departure with a £100 refundable security payment for damages/breakages. No all-male or all-female parties.
