Villa Athene is newly built on two levels in a quiet cul-de-sac in Peyia. Entry hall, guest bathroom, lounge, dining area and kitchen are on the upper level and lead to large covered balcony with stunning views of Coral Bay, Paphos Lighthouse and beyond. The lounge will sit six comfortably and has a 32" flat screen TV (all UK terrestrial), DVD and CD unit. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen which has all the latest appliances. Below, the main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed, both these rooms have a balcony and lead to the pool and patio area. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds and direct access to pool. A bathroom with bath, shower and toilet is situated between these bedrooms. The interior is modern and comfortable with stylish furnishings and works of art. All rooms are air-conditioned & have fly screens. The pool (8x4m) and patio area has plenty of room for sun beds and for dining next to the built-in BBQ.

Prices are for the property per week and in UK pounds. 25% non refundable deposit required on booking, balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to travel plus £100 refundable security deposit. All towels (including pool or beach towels) and linen are included. Villa cleaned before/after arrival and free midclean if staying more than 12 days. Extra clean during your stay? Tell our manager and this will be done at local cost, pay after the clean. |
Notes on accommodation
Full remote controlled air-conditioning is included with high quality low noise units located in all rooms. Patio doors open out to the balconies and pool area. These are fitted with fly screens. Because of its elevation the villa gets cool breezes throughout the day. Mobile fan is available. We would prefer that you did not smoke inside the Villa but ashtrays are available if you wish to smoke around the pool or on the balconies. There are sun beds and chairs for relaxing by the pool (8m x 4m) and a traditional Cypriot barbecue is located here, between the pool and garden. The interior of the Villa is cool with marble floors and colourful art works, rugs in the bedrooms. Of course, a Welcome Pack is included.

Outside
There are landscaped gardens with fruit trees and herbs at the front and rear of Villa Athene. The south facing private pool (8m x 4m) gets the sun from dawn to dusk. Pool is cleaned twice a week. Sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas are available. There is a pool shower and a traditional Cypriot BBQ near the pool. Pool lights at night. Covered balconies on both levels with table and chairs for alfresco dining. Private parking at the villa.
Coast/Beach
Villa Athene is only 3km from the well know Coral Bay with its famous blue flag beach, with umbrellas and beds for hire. The Akamas peninsular located 10mins drive away offers some secluded & deserted beaches. Visit the Loggerhead Turtle sanctuary just along the coast.
Golf
Villa Athene is an ideal base for golf lovers. Tsada Golf Club, Aphrodite Hills & Secret Valley Golf Club are all within easy reach. Located 20 mins from Paphos Town, Tsada Golf Club is 18 holes of superb Championship Golf set in the grounds of a 12th Century monastery in a gentle valley. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6060m. At an altitude of 550ms above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer. The Aphrodite Hills golf course is the centrepiece of an exclusive project encompassing a 5* hotel, villa development, tennis academy, health spa and village. The championship golf plays 18 holes with a 71 par and measures 6665m. It lies 20km from Paphos on the road to Limassol. The Secret Valley Golf Club is an 18 hole Championship Golf Course in a spectacular setting. It is 18km east of Paphos near Petra tou Romiou.
Skiing
You can ski from December to late February in the Troodos Mountain. They say you can ski in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon.

Special interest holidays
Villa Athene is a good base from which to explore the various nature reserves and forests in Paphos. Paphos is great for bird watching, from the Villa itself you can hear and see Little Owls and other birds. In the Akamas Peninsular national reserve there is the Turtle sanctuary (at Lara) for the Loggerhead Turtle which you can visit.
Travel
Paphos International airport is a 25 min drive away. Larnaca airport is about 2 hrs away by car. Car hire is highly recommended. If you have a late night flight we recommend taking a taxi from Paphos Airport to the villa (£30) and having your car delivered to you the next morning. Alternatively, our Peyia based manager will meet you at a nearby landmark and introduce you to the villa.

Further details
Peyia Village is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive away, tavernas, shops, banks, dentist, doctor, pharmacy, butcher, baker and the famous Philipo's Supermarket are here. Coral Bay is a 10 minute drive, it has plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs, supermarkets, banks, doctors, pharmacy and internet cafes.
