The property is a newly built townhouse with 2 floors. It has a large front patio and a rear driveway for 1 car. It is only 4km from Paphos Airport. The bustling tourist resort of Kato Paphos is a 15 minute drive away whilst the beautiful Troodos Mountains are a leisurely 45 minute drive from the property. The village of Mandria is but a 5 minute walk from the house.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom with a kingsize bed and terrace with sea view. Bedroom 2 with full-size twin beds and ample space for a fold-up bed (provided).
Both bedrooms have floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes.
Sofa Bed in lounge.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath, wc and washbasin on upper floor.
Ground floor has an additional fully tiled wc and walk-in shower cubicle.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen has a cooker with fan assisted oven, ceramic hob and extractor. There is also a fridge freezer, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. All cookware, crockery and cutlery.
Utility Room: There is a utility area on the upper floor which has a washing machine and storage area for towels as well as powders, toilet rolls etc. A steam iron and ironing board are also provided.
Living Rooms: The spacious lounge/dining area has a 3 seater sofa bed which converts to a comfortable double bed as well as a brown leather two seater sofa and coffee table, a 28" TV with Satellite and a DVD player. Dining area has a solid oak table & 4 chairs.
Other: An ipod docking station is provided for your use in the living room. 4 sunbeds are provided but please return them to the house each day after use.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Cleaning is done weekly also. All damage and breakages should be reported to the owner or the local contact.

 

Notes on accommodation
The property has air-conditioning throughout. Windows & Patio Doors are fitted with fly-screens which allow cool air to circulate without insects getting in. Windows have venetian blinds, patio doors have vertical blinds. It is ideal family accommodation with plenty of space. This is a non-smoking home and no pets.

Outside
The front patio is fully tiled with a large table and six chairs. There are four sunloungers for use at the pool or on the patio. At the rear of the property there is a driveway for one car.

Coast/Beach
The local beaches of Mandria are completely unspoilt. It is a leisurely 15 minute walk to the coast through lovely agricultural land or they can be accessed by car. The beaches are mainly shingle with some sandy coves. Snorkelling and watersports are offered in the area.

Golf
The Secret Valley Golf Course is 5 km from the property. It is an 18 hole championship golf course set in a spectacular setting of mature trees with beautiful sculptured rock formations all around. The front 9 has 4 nice warm-up holes, two birdie opportunites and an easy dog-leg. The back nine is much more challenging. Par 72, 6120 metres.
The Aphrodite Hills Golf Course near Paphos is 6,299m long and plays at a par 71/70. It is considered one of the best in Cyprus and as good as its Portuguese or Spanish cousins. It is an award winning 18 hole championship course overlooking the Mediterranean.

Skiing
The ski-season in Cyprus runs generally from January to April and the Cyprus Ski Club has four ski lifts reaching 8 Alpine ski runs on the slopes of Mount Olympus (1,951 metres). The runs accommodate all skiers, from beginner to advanced levels. There are also cross country ski tracks. The area can be reached in 45 minutes by car.

Travel
The property is 4 km from Paphos Airport making it a quick and easy car drive. Car hire is not essential in Mandria as you have 2 supermarkets, a bank and 2 tavernas in the village. However, we would recommend hiring a car if you want to visit the many historic sights & beaches of Cyprus.

Distances
The local village is 5 minutes walk from the property whilst the bustling tourist area of Paphos and Kato Paphos are only 8 km away on good roads or the nearby motorway. The villages of Timi and Platres are also close by and Limassol is a 40 minute drive from Mandria. Coral Bay is a 30 minute drive whilst Nicosia is 2 hours away. The Troodos Mountains are a leisurely 45 minute drive and are a must for any visitor.

Further details
Mandria Village has two tavernas, two small well stocked supermarkets, a coffee shop and a bank. The tavernas have good food if not extensive menus and both are reasonably priced. The area is exellent for walking, hiking, cycling and watersports. The local bay is good for snorkeling whilst Paphos has a host of scuba diving clubs who will gladly cater for inexperienced and experienced divers alike.
Birdwatchers and nature lovers will find the area a rewarding experience, there are many nature trails on the island. Wine lovers may wish to visit some of the many wineries.

A deposit of one third of the total cost will be required with initial booking; the balance owing, to be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Payments should be made by cheque direct to the owner.
