Luxury villa with private pool and garden. Fully air-conditioned. Large downstairs terraces to the rear and side of the house with an upstairs terrace to the front giving way to spectacular views of Kyrenia and the coastline. TV, DVD and CD player, with a large selection of DVDs, CDs and reading material. Sandy beaches to both the west and east of Kyrenia within a few minutes drive. Kyrenia itself offers a pretty horseshoe-shaped harbour dominated by a Ventian Castle; here you will find an abundance of restaurants, shops and bars. Boat trips operate daily from this harbour. Many historical sites are within easy reach including three Crusader Castles. The village of Bellapais made famous by Lawrence Durrell, is well-worth a visit to see the splendid abbey built by the Augustinian Order in 1200.

Accessibility
The are four steps leading up to the front door of the villa.
Outside
Large enclosed garden with family sized swimming pool, sunbeds, umbrellas, large table and chairs for alfresco dining. Table and chairs on upstairs terrace to either enjoy a drink or meal as you watch the sunset over the sea.
Coast/Beach
There are many sandy beaches both to the east and west of Kyrenia, all within easy reach, the nearest being about 4 kms (just a 10 minute drive).
Golf
Newly constructed golf course now open. Approximately a 30 minute drive to the east, situated between Aligadi and Esentepe. Trolleys and clubs are available for hire.
Travel
Ercan Airport is approximately a 30 minute drive from the villa. Taxi transfers can be arranged. Car hire is essential and a hire car can be booked for your collection at the airport or delivered to the villa.
Alternatively you can fly to Larnaca in the South. Taxi transfer from Larnaca takes approximately 75 minutes at a cost of around £80 return. Unfortunately car hire cannot be arranged directly from Larnaca.
Car hire costs range from £14.00 to £25.00 per day according to season.

There are many restaurants to choose from, but a selection of the best include: The Address, The Ambience and Niazis.
The nearest large supermarket is less than one mile away and stocks everything.
HSBC has a branch in Kyrenia. Also there are many exchange bureaus in Kyrenia and other major towns. However sterling, euros and other major currencies widely accepted.
North Cyprus has many places of historical interest, including three Crusader Catles - St Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara. Kyrenia Castle, which dominates the harbour, is of particular interest with its shipwreck museum, the village of Bellapais with its Abbey, Vouni Palace and the mosaics at Soli, the Roman Ruins at Salamis with its large amphitheatre and much much more.
Apart from the many local beaches, the Karpaz Peninsula is to be experienced, with its miles and miles of golden sand and as you approach the tip of the island you will see wild donkeys grazing in the scrubland and right at the end you will find the Apostolos Andreas Monastery. To fully appreciate this area it is worth an overnight stay as there is a selection of small hotels offering bed and breakfast at extremely reasonable prices.
A variety of sporting activities including horse-riding, tennis, tandem paragliding, scuba diving and, of course, water-sports are available at most of the hotel beaches, with Escape Beach (situated near the War and Peace Monument, about 6 kms west of Kyrenia), offering pedaloes, water-skiing, speed boat trips and banana boat rides.
Full day boat trips, including lunch on board, operate daily from Kyrenia Harbour.
In the spring-time North Cyprus is a walker's paradise with an abundance of wild flowers including orchids - organised walks are available but need booking locally (please purchase Cyprus Today Newspaper, a weekly paper issued on Saturdays and stocked in all supermarkets, for further details).
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking; the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to departure. A refundable security deposit is also payable with the balance. The full cost of the holiday is required on bookings made within six weeks of date booked.
