The villa will comfortably accommodate 7 people in the bedrooms provided. For additional people, a sofabed (double) and extra single are available. Air-conditioning units are provided in the 3 double/twin bedrooms and lounge. A telephone is also available for local outgoing calls and this service will receive all calls including international. Facilities include large pool/patio area containing sufficient loungers/sunbeds with cushions, barbeque, table and chairs for dining, private secluded garden with fruit/olive trees and flower beds, own driveway in the shade. All bedrooms have hair dryers, fans, mosquito nets over beds and window shutters. The coast road (200m away), leads to many interesting places to visit, provides good access to Kyrenia where all the commercial facilities for the region are located. Whilst the border between the north and south of the island is now open, visitors do not have free access in rental cars but taxis can be hired for this purpose.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Please call us for information on prices for groups of less than 5 people or more than 7. Reduced prices are available for long rental periods.
Changeover day
It is preferred that bookings are made on the basis of Sunday travelling, however, this is not always essential. Where a booking may overlap by the odd day hotel arrangements can be made for a one night stay-over in a local hotel at very reasonable rates.

The large air-conditioned lounge is well furnished and has direct access to the patio. Facilities include a TV (digital channels), VCR and radio/CD player. There is also a dining area situated directly adjacent to the kitchen. |

The first floor gallery provides a quiet area and can also be used for additional sleeping accommodation for larger parties. The adjacent sun deck (with shade) provides panoramic views of the mountains/sea for private sunbathing as does the patio area. |

Towels and linen are included along with a weekly maid service. A complimentary food pack will be provided for your arrival and for your first day’s breakfast. Both the pool and garden are maintained by regular visits. |

Air-conditioning is available in the lounge and the 3 double bedrooms. The villa is children friendly and a travel cot and single pushchair are provided for use during your stay. Mosquito nets provided over all beds.

Accessibility
The villa has easy wheelchair access from the road and bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor with wide doorways.
Outside
The patio/pool area has sufficient loungers/sunbeds with cushions, barbeque, private secluded garden with fruit/olive trees and flower beds, own driveway in the shade. Vine covered patio leading out from lounge has table and chairs for alfresco dining. Pool is 12m X 5m with Roman steps leading into shallow end. Spring board and steps are located in the deep end (2.5m). Sun terrace on first floor provides wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and seascape. It is partly covered to provide shade but is ideal for private sunbathing.
Coast/Beach
A small sandy beach is located some 400m from the villa and is accessed by a manmade path. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing for all. There are no commercial facilities as the beach is very secluded and only known to the local people. It is therefore advisable to take your own refreshments and shades if you intend a long stay. A truly beautiful location to witness the sunset across the sea.
Golf
The newly opened golf club (Korineum) is a 45 mins drive away to the east and is set in superb surroundings. A 72 par course is designed for golfers of all standards and ages. The paspalm playing surface is maintained all year round with stategically placed bunkers and water hazards. Also has a golf academy, driving range, Club House restaurant, bar and spa. Alternatively a second golf course is 45 mins in the opposite direction and was originally created for the staff of the old copper mines. It has been maintained over the years by local enthusiasts and is famous for their 'browns' not 'greens' as the putting surfaces are created from a mixture of sand and oil.
Special interest holidays
The island is perfect for bird watching, turtle watching and boasts beautiful mountain top castles and Roman ruins. Other local pursuits include mountain walking, paragliding, go-carting, scuba diving, fishing, horse riding and quad bikes.
Travel
The Lodge is situated 12 miles west of the main harbour town of Kyrenia which is some 35 miles north west of the main airport, Ercan and 20 miles north of the capital city, Nicosia. Kyrenia is the main port for ferry access to mainland Turkey which is 40 miles away. Flights can be arranged from many U.K. airports directly to the South (4 ½ hrs) and indirect into Northern Cyprus (Ercan) via Turkey (5 ½ hrs).
Distances
Local shops are within walking distance and the main hotels retaurants and casino's etc. are some 3 miles away. The main coast road is 200m from the villa and this provides good access to the activity beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and places of interest to visit. The secluded local beach which can be accessed by a man made path is just 400m away and provides safe bathing for the children as the waters are shallow and has a sandy bottom.
Further details
There is a well established local fish restaurant situated overlooking the sea just below the main Karsiyaka crossroads.
Booking notes
A non-returnable deposit of 20% will be required and full payment of the villa rental will be required 8 weeks in advance of your departure date. Provisional bookings will be held for 10 days whilst you make travel arrangements with the Airline of your choice. Should you wish to have the security of holiday insurance, we recommend you make provision for this when booking your airline tickets.
