Coast/Beach
10-15 minute drive to Kyrenia on the north coast and beaches.
Travel
Ercan in North Cyprus is the nearest airport, with a transfer time of 40 minutes. Alternatively, Larnaca in South Cyprus has a transfer time of 1.5 hours. Car hire is recommended and arrangements have been made with a local car hire firm for pick-ups from Ercan. Cyprus has the bonus of right hand cars.
Distances
Bellapais village and Abbey is a 5 mins walk. The port of Kyrenia, with its attractive old harbour and castle, is a 10-15 mins drive. Beaches are also a 10-15 mins drive. Turtle beaches are accessible further along the coast.
Further details
North Cyprus is still less well known than the South and consequently remains unspoilt, unsophisticated where time seems to have stood still. The relaxed atmosphere ensures a truly wonderful holiday destination.
