Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and euros. It is possible to have discounts for winter let's. Contact for details. A deposit of 30 euros per night is payable to confirm the reservation in the first instance. Local taxes are payable on arrival together with a registration fee when you register as a tourist. Local taxes are 7 kunas per person per night (70p) with discounts for children under 18 and free for children under 12. There is a 3 euro (£2) registration fee per person.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible to ensure easier access and to fit in with the local arrangements. This also suits many people who have different flight arrangements. Every effort is made to meet individual group needs.

The accommodation has been fully fitted with high quality Italian designed furniture in light colours to increase the feeling of space. Air conditioning is fitted and the apartment is suitable for couples or families. It is situated on the 1st floor with easy access and secure video intercom. There is secured parking next to the apartment.

Outside
The apartment has a balcony overlooking the marina which is accessible from both bedroom 1 and the lounge. The apartment is south west facing and therefore has sun all through the day and magnificent sunsets from the balcony. The balcony is spacious and has outside table and chairs for six people.

Coast/Beach
250m to nearest beach. 3 mins walk to other beaches with crystal clear clean water and bathing and spectacular views of the bays and coastline. Brand new 5 star new marina complex within 100m. The coastal path to the north is suitable for walking or cycling and is backed by forest pines, peaceful and very attractive. The coastal path to the south has purpose built beaches, small pools and is ideal for swimming and diving. Hotel facilities are available to use with all sports facilities and pool.

Golf
There is golf at Tar which is approx 9km.

Skiing
Skiing in Slovenia is approx 50km.

Travel
There are now several easy routes with budget airlines making Istria accessible. The easiest route is to Pula from Stansted (Ryanair). This is now a 45 min drive. Trieste airport in Italy is an easy 75 mins drive (Ryanair). Car hire is recommended and can easily be arranged through Ryanair. Rijeka airport is 75 mins drive (Easyjet - Luton) flying directly into Croatia. It is also possible to fly to Pula in Istria (45 mins drive) from Scotland (flyglobespan).

Distances
Novigrad is within easy distance of the popular coastal towns of Porec (15km) and Rovinj (30km) which are to the south. To the north and east Inland Istria is unspoilt and is famous for many inland hilltop towns such as Motovun, Oprtalj and Groznjan which are all within 25 mins of Novigrad. The area around Novigrad is famous for wines, olive oil and truffles with several selected routes to explore at your leisure. Slovenia is within 30 minutes drive and offers coastal and inland areas of beauty.

Further details
Novigrad has all amenities although it is particularly famous for its range of high quality restaurants with an eclectic cuisine - Istrian sushi, local fresh fish and meat in traditional Croatian and Italian style. The laid back all round nature of the town makes it intimate and unspoilt. The apartment now has four high quality new mountain bikes for use - either to get around Novigrad easily or to explore the many cycle paths and routes around the area. There are six specialist routes which enable the area to be explored. It is also a very easy way to visit the many local vineyards and olive groves which frequently have open days.

Booking notes
A deposit of 30 euros per night is payable to confirm the reservation. A booking form will be then sent with the outstanding balance payable 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Full booking conditions are available by email and are included on the reservation form. A security deposit will be required during the stay.
