The house is well positioned as a base from which to visit the famous Roman towns of Porec and Pula, the medieval hill top villages of Motovun and Groznjan, the Venetian built promontory of Rovinj and the spectacular caves at Baredine.

Ryanair fly from Stansted direct into Pula or Trieste (Italy). The villa is 45 Mins from Pula and 90 Mins from Trieste.
Dublin to Zadar (Zadar 3 hours).
Flyglobespan, Scotland direct to Pula.
Easy Jet fly from Stansted into Lubjina (Slovenia, 1.5 Hours)
BA Fly into Venice.(2 Hours) All airports have the main hire car companies represented. (Car recommended)
Access to Porec is also possible via Catamaran Service from Venice (2½ hours).

Distances
Nearest village is Tar (3 mins drive) for basic groceries, bars and cafés and numerous restaurants. Porec (10 mins by car) is an historical town with many events organised throughout the year, beaches, shopping, marina and the Euphrasius Basilica. Vrsar (25 mins)has beaches and marina. Motovun (1 hour)is truffle country. Pula (45 mins) has a Roman Amphitheatre. From Porec a catamaran to Venice takes approximately 2½ hours. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the stunning Istrian scenery.

A small shop for essential supplies is within a 3 mins drive, large supermarkets are located in Porec with most staff speaking English. All local restaurants offer menus in English and speak excellent English. Food is a combination of Italian and Balkan. In the house you'll find a welcome pack with up to date brochures of local attractions plus suggested day trips, recommended restaurants and a guide to What's on in Istria. Paragliding launch site 1½ miles. Additional Paragliding areas close by. Daily day trips to Venice from Porec.

20% deposit to confirm your booking. Balance 4 weeks before departure. A £200 refundable security deposit will apply, payable with final balance and fully refunded upon return if no damage or breakages.
