A traditional Istrian Stone House recently renovated to the highest standard and sitting in a beautifully landscaped garden. The accommodation is located in the centre of a farming village surrounded by meadow and woodland. It is on three floors. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/ dining room, a sitting room (which has a sofa divan) and a bathroom. On the first floor are two double/twin bedrooms and a bathroom; A further two double/twin bedrooms and bathroom are on the top floor. We can accommodate up to 2 disabled persons, as access into the house is via a ramp, and there are sleeping, cooking and bathroom facilities on the ground floor. There is ample parking and all guests are welcome to make use of the garden and summer kitchen with built in pizza/bread oven and grill. The garden is beautifully landscaped with running fountain and a large terrace with teak table and seating and is for the customers'

Notes on prices
Our prices are per person per night in Euros
Children under 12 years are 1/2 price. Fewer people, smaller cost. Extra bed per night/person (over 8 persons) is 7 euros. All prices are subject to additional local taxes which range from 34 to55 cents per person per night depending on the season and a one off Registration fee of 4 euros per person
For winter months, book 2 weeks get 3rd free.
A 25% deposit is required to book, the balance payable upon arrival.
Changeover day
We are flexible as regards changeover days.
| Bedrooms: | All bedrooms have either double or twin beds as required, ample wardrobe and hanging space, good sized mirror, bedside tables and lamps, heating and satellite TV. The beds and all bedding is of superior quality and allergy safe. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathrooms 1 and 2 are fully tiled and have large showers, plus heater, wc and wash hand basin with good cupboard space and mirror. Bathroom 3 is fully tiled and has a 2 metre bath with hand shower plus heater, a separate shower, wc and wash hand basin. |
| Kitchen: | Fully fitted,tiled kitchen with 4 ring hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is ample, good quality crockery, glasses, pots, pans and cutlery for 12 people. There is a large dining table with seating for up to 10. |
| Utility Room: | There is a large drying rack and good iron and ironing board. Washing machine and dryer are in our office and a long drying line is at the end of the garden. |
| Living Rooms: | Open plan living room with couch (convertable to a double divan), wood burning stove, coffee table and satellite TV. The DVD and Video player comes with a library of DVDs and Videos to watch and puzzles, games are also to be found here. |
| Other: | We have a large collection of English novels on shelves at the top of the stairs. These are for the customers to read. If you come with books please feel free to leave them after they have been read. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All bed linen and towels are provided and are changed at least weekly. A weekly cleaning service is available. |
Notes on accommodation
Full gas fired central heating and continuous gas heated hot water. Or, for when the weather is hot, large fans in every room.
Outside
Outside, there is a professionally landscaped garden with fountain and terraces, ample parking and a summer kitchen with a built in bread/pizza oven and BBQ/Grill, all for the customers' private use.
Coast/Beach
The house is within 10 minutes drive of one of the prettiest sets of beaches and coves in the area - Krnicki Porat. This is where the locals go because nature abounds, the sea is beautifully clean and clear and enough privacy can still be found. There are also numerous other coves and beaches all within a 15 minute drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is in Pula - 20 kilometres away and many operators fly here during the summer season. Thomson, Thomas Cook, Flyglobespan, Ryanair (2007) However, as an alternative, a few of our customers fly with Ryanair to Trieste airport in Northern Italy, or with Easyjet to Lublijana in Slovenia, both only a 2 hour drive away.
Distances
The nearest town is Barban which has markets, a bank, chemist, post office and an excellent bar/restaurant. 5 more excellent restaurants are within 10 minutes drive. Glavani is around 20 kilometres from Pula, with 3000 years of history and boasting one of the best preserved amphitheatres in Europe.
Further details
There are a whole host of activities available locally, including water sports, horse-riding/trekking, walking, cycling, go karting, sailing and 4x4 excursions. In adddition, trips can be arranged to Venice, Slovenia and other areas of Croatia.
Booking notes
We normally ask for a 25% deposit on booking which can be paid by credit card or direct bank transfer. The balance is payable on arrival - again either by credit card or cash.

Friends and I just had a most delightful stay with Susan and Nigel. We felt so welcomed and comfortable. We had beautifully furnished rooms and a well stocked kitchen. They were helpful with information about tourist spots but mostly gracious hosts. They even arranged a beautiful catered supper prepared by a terrific cook neighbour. I look forward to my next visit.
