The house is newly built and finished to a high standard, with Italian ceramic floors (wooden floors in bedrooms). With views of the sea (about 400 m. away) and countryside, the house is set in a small group of mainly holiday houses. Dajla has basic facilities. There is a bar/café, grocery shop and restaurant nearby.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the house, per week, and include cleaning (at the start and end of your stay), electricity, water and cooking gas, but exclude Croatian government tourist tax.
Discounts: 20% off the price of any stay of 1 week or more in the period up to 21 June and after 20 September.
Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Saturday, but we can be flexible. Please ask.

Notes on accommodation
A spiral staircase leads to the galleried upper floor. Whilst perfectly safe this may not be suitable for infirm guests.

Outside
Patio doors lead from the dining area to a covered terrace with seating, a table and a garden.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Dajla (5 minutes walk from the house) is, in common with most beaches in Istria, shingle, but it is clean with crystal clear, warm water. There are good bathing areas all along the coast in both directions.
Golf
There is a golf course at Tar (approx. 12 Km).
Travel
The easiest air route is to Trieste airport (Ryanair) in Italy from which Dajla is about 55 miles. We strongly recommend car hire (this can be arranged through Ryanair). It is also possible to fly to Pula in southern Istria, Rijeka, Venice (Marco Polo or Treviso) or Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Distances
Novigrad is just 3.5 Km away and Porec, the principal resort of Istria is about 20 Km. Porec is a UNESCO world heritage site with a Roman basilica and mosaics, plenty of restaurants and ancient cobbled streets. Pula with its amphitheatre and Rovinj with its Venecian atmosphere can both be reached in less than an hour and a half. Inland, Istria is mountainous and interesting hilltop villages such as Motovun are easily accessible. For an extra special day trip, you can take a catamaran to Venice.

Novigrad has most facilities, ie. supermarket, banks, cashpoints, restaurants, pharmacy, doctors and dentists.
