Over 100 years old, this traditional, Istrian stone house nestles on the slopes of historic Kastelir. It has panoramic views of the coast below, especially from the 1st floor balcony. Beautifully restored, with old wood beams, stone stairs & polished wood floors, the house is built on three floors. On the ground floor there is a kitchen-diner, small double bedroom & bathroom with shower. On the 1st floor there is a large living room with stone fireplace & balcony. On the top floor there are 2 double bedrooms & bathroom with bath. Outside there is a small garden with a 6x3m2 pool, a covered dining area with a stone table & a sun terrace with sea views. Parking is private, at the start of the property & screened from the garden by wrought iron gates. Friendly Croatian neighbours. There is a restaurant a minute's walk away & others close by. There's also a mini-supermarket a short walk away. With its stone stairs & unfenced pool, this property maybe unsafe for toddlers & small children.

With its stone staircase, low windows & unfenced swimming pool, this property may not be suitable for toddlers or small children who cannot swim.

House has official Tourist Classification for legal renting in Croatia. Baby's high chair & cot provided. House is cleaned once a week. Hair-dryer is provided. Welcome pack available as an option, details provided on booking. Bike hire can be arranged, details provided on booking. A phone line has been applied for so we can provide wireless internet. This takes time and if we do not have it for this year, internet will be provided via a usb stick. More details supplied on request.

Location Information: Lying on the hillside of sleepy Brnobici, the house has panoramic views of the Istrian coast. From Brnobici, it is a pleasant stroll through country lanes to the adjoining villages of Kastelir and Labinci. In the area there are plenty of locals selling their own wine, olive oil and rakija (grappa), as well as several shops for all your supplies, and several good restaurants. In one direction, historic Porec with its ancient Bascilica and the sea is only 10 minutes drive away. In another, it is only 10 minutes drive to the pretty town of Tar and the seaside complex at Lanterna. Other coastal towns such as Rovinj and Vrsar are an easy drive away, as are a whole host of beautiful inland hill-top towns and villages.
