This newly built 3 bedroomed house sits at the edge of the picturesque village of Tar whose traditional stone houses cascade with flowers during the summer months. Being within walking distance from the vast playground of the Adriatic coastline there are nearby opportunies for swimming, windsurfing, water skiing, diving, table tennis, volleyball, go-carting and horseback riding. In addition the house is well positioned as a base from which to visit the famous Roman towns of Porec and Pula, the medieval hill top villages of Motovun and Groznjan, the Venetian built promontory of Rovinj and the Austro Hapsburgian town of Opatija.
The accommodation consists of a spacious and well appointed open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. 3 bedrooms (one double, one twin, one single with pull out bed beneath), two bathrooms, utility room and small terrace with barbecue. Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday but negotiable. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 10am.

The villa is cleaned before arrival and after departure. For guests staying longer than one week, there is a linen and towel change after the first week and a light clean. Additional cleaning during your stay is available on request at cost of 10 euros. |
Notes on accommodation
The house has been built to an extremely high standard with remote control air conditioning on both floors, tiled bathrooms and solid wood flooring throughout. Venetian blinds on all windows allow protection from the sun as well as giving privacy. There are only 12 houses in the complex.
In addition to the satellite TV there is a DVD player and selection of DVDs.
General supplies such as washing-up liquid and kitchen towel are provided, as well as a complimetary welcome food hamper which includes bread, butter, olives, bottle wine, 6 pack beer, water, juice, seasonal fruit).

Outside
With views across to the pretty town of Novigrad and panoramas of the Adriatic coastline the development has a 10m x 5m shared swimming pool with lounging area, all weather floodlit tennis court and pleasantly landscaped and maintained garden.
Coast/Beach
Below Tar, along the coast, is the cove of Tarska Draga, with a small fishing village and highly recommended fish restaurant. Also close by is the Lanterna peninsula, rich in Mediterranean vegetation and well-maintained beaches.
Travel
Trieste airport in Italy (Ryanair) is 90 minutes drive. Pula airport is a 40 minute drive with direct flights from Glasgow/Edinburgh (flyglobespan), Ryanair, and Thompson Air has charter flights from the UK to Pula during the summer. From Porec, a catamaran to Venice takes approximately 2.5 hours. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the stunning Istrian scenery and to enjoy its much and varied history and gastronomy.
Distances
A 5 minute walk will take you from the peace and quiet of the development to the gentle hum of the small village of Tar with many local shops, cafes, restaurants and bank with cash machine. The larger, bustling town of Porec is a 10 minute drive, as is the smaller town of Novigrad.

Booking notes
Non-refundable 30% deposit of total rental booking. Booking remains open until deposit money is received. Balance to be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival. You should arrange your own cancellation and holiday insurance. Money to be paid by electronic bank transfer. Credit card payment accepted £10.00 charge.
