This enchanting property with beautiful stone architecture, blends in nicely with the surrounding countryside and is at the edge of the little Hamlet of Radici. Built with all modern conveniences, furnished to the highest standards with reclaimed Istrian stone, traditional fireplace and old oak beams to give the property a very special atmosphere and character. All windows and doors are double glazed with outside wooden shutters, typical of the region. There are a few small grocery shops, bars, a post office and a cafe 3km away, in the small ancient walled village of Sveti Lovrec.
Enjoy a mouth watering meal in "Idila" a typical Istrian restaurant in Rikovci, just a few minutes drive away.

Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day, however we try to be flexible where possible.
Arrival 3pm, checkout 10am.

Bedroom 2 with double bed and French doors to the swimming pool area. Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds.
One single foldup bed available.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to the master bathroom. Bath with shower, wall mounted WC and basin.
Ground floor bath room with shower, wall mounted WC and basin.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, extractor, fridge/freezer. Fully equipped.
Utility Room: Separate stone garden house with washing machine, ironing board/iron and clothes horse.
Living Rooms: Spacious open plan living and dining room. TV & DVD player. Traditional Istrian open fireplace. Two leather sofas, a wicker arm chair and rustic coffee table. Large dining table with 8 chairs. Doors open to both the garden and pool areas.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Property is cleaned once per week together with a weekly linen change. Towels and linen included. More frequent cleaning can be arranged upon request at a competitive hourly rate. Please supply your own pool towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa is ideal for out of season breaks. On winter nights the traditional Istrian log fireplace will keep you warm and cosy in combination with the modern oil-fired central heating. Private parking for 2/3 cars.
Please note the pool is open from April until September.

17 km to coastal resort of Porec. (Ferry service to Venice). 20km to the Venetian town of Rovinj. 12km to Vrsrar, seaside town. 10 minutes drive to the scenic Limksi Kanal, a turquoise fjord , renowned for its superb seafood restaurants.

Stansted - Trieste in Italy with Ryanair (90 mins drive)
From 31/10/06, Ryanair will fly from Stansted to Pula direct (only 40 mins drive)

Nearest village of Sveti Lovrec (3km) for basic groceries, post office, bar and cafe. Medieval hill towns of Motovun and Groznjan are within a short drive (30 minutes) as is Pula, home to the 6th largest amphitheatre in the world.
A full range of sporting and leisure facilities are within easy reach.

Further details
The Istrian peninsula is renowned for its good wine, ham, cheese and fresh seafood; restaurants abound. Wine and olive oil routes are signposted. Boat excusions to Brijuni Islands and Limski Kanal are available. One of the most popular attractions is the nearby Baredine Cave, well worth a visit. There is no shortage of things to see and do.

Non refundable 30% deposit of the total rental booking. The balance to be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival.

You should arrange your own cancellation insurance.
