The detached stone villa is set in a walled garden within the 13th century town walls. Moments from the busy square yet secluded with shady terraces to sit out on. There are sea views from the house and garden. Double doors from the street open into a Dvor or private limestone paved yard. On the ground floor is a study with sofa bed and en suite bathroom and a double bedroom . On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and another communal bathroom. On the second floor there is a large open plan modern kitchen with a living room and also gallery which sleeps 2. The villa is newly refurbished with limestone floors and is fully furnished with all new linen and bed-cloths Outside is a beautiful eating terrace with sea views and an ancient vine. There are sun loungers in the garden which has oranges, figs, bougainvillea and jasmine.

Notes on accommodation
The kitchen has hob,oven, built in microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and plenty of units. Acces to the terrace and garden is from the kitchen on the second floor. There is a table and chairs to eat outside. The villa is newly decorated with all new linen and bed-cloths. It is only a 5 minute walk past the shops and stalls on the seafront to the nearest beach. The best swimming is near the Amphora hotel where there is plenty of room and excellent restaurants for snacks and capuccino. There are many beaches on nearby islands where you can go on small boats daily from Hvar port. The island has the highest number of sunshine hours of any Adriatic resort. Due to its position well away from the mainland it also has pollution free seas. The town itself has a southerly aspect sheltered by the mountains to the North. The Pakleni Otoci are a necklace of islands directly to the south which shelter the port from high seas.

Location Information: Hvar town has the most perfectly preserved Town Square from the Venetian era outside Dubrovnik. It plays the role of sitting room to the town with the Cathedral at one end and the Venetian Theatre over the boathouse at the other. Set within the 13th century town walls the stone villa has beautiful views of the port and enjoys a garden, with shady vines, bougainvillea, pomegranate and an orange tree, to sunbathe and relax in. The town attracts the glitterati from all over the world who arrive in spectacular yachts for the stunning architecture and seafood restaurants. The town centre is a car free zone making it a safe playground for children who can explore the winding cobbled streets, the Venetian Palaces and the busy harbour. Inland the mountains rise to 2000 feet with hill towns set among the vineyards, olive groves and the fields ofl lavender. The scent of lavender greets the seaborne visitors.
