This apartment is on the top floor and is one of six apartments which also has a brick built barbeque area for use of all residents. It has two bedrooms and a sofabed in the lounge. It has a large balcony with views over the town, sea and mountains. It is situated near the end of the Peljesac peninsula in Orebic, a lovely town which lies at the base of St. Ilia's mountain. The water is crystal clear and excellent for water spotrs including windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, sailing and there is a sandy beach. From the marina you can take a 15 minute car/passenger ferry to the beautiful old walled town of Korcula. On a hill just above the town sits a lovely monastery with glorious panoramic views of the islands.

Changeover day
The normal changeover day is Saturday, however, this is flexible depending on availability. Check in time is normally after 4pm and check out 10am, however this is again flexible depending on the time of year.

Notes on accommodation
Apartment does have air conditioning. Please note that as it is on the top floor there are two flights of stairs and no lift.

Coast/Beach
The seafront is approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There is a sandy beach and pebble beach within approximately 10 minutes walk and a lovely marina.
Travel
Nearest airport is Dubrovnik which is about 2 hours drive through scenic countryside and mountain views. You can also fly to Split and take a ferry from Ploce to the Peninsula or you can sail from Split to Korcula and get the ferry to Orebic. You do have the option of flying to Bari (Italy) and sailing overnight to Dubrovnik and then driving to Orebic.
Further details
There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and a local bank 5 minutes walk. There is a diving centre approx 5 minutes drive away. Please note that water electricity is included in the price but you do need to pay Croatian Tourist Tax on arrival (approx 7Kn per person per day)
Booking notes
A non refundable booking deposit of 20% is required at time of booking with full payment becoming due 8 weeks before arrival at the apartment. A refundable security deposit of £150 or 150 euros is payable on arrival (refunded on departure after cartaker checks).
