Villa Ana is a 3 bedroom, detached villa with a private swimming pool on a small development of 6 villas, adjoining open countryside. It is located on the edge of the peaceful village of Dracevac, 10 mins drive from the coast and 15 mins drive from the picturesque and historic town of Porec.
The villa accommodates 6 people very comfortably, with 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, a family bathroom and a shower room. There is a spacious open plan living room with direct access to a large, covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden. There is also an east facing, breakfast terrace.
A small shop for essential supplies is within a 5 minute walk and several excellent restaurants are located a few minutes drive away.

Changeover day
Changeover day is typically Tuesday enabling guests to take advantage of cheaper midweek flights to Pula. However we try to be flexible where possible.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with king size bed and French doors opening onto the breakfast terrace. Bedroom 2 with twin beds overlooking the pool and open countryside. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Family bathroom with bath, basin and wc. Shower room with basin and wc. |
| Kitchen: | Open plan kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, extractor, fridge/freezer. Fully equipped. |
| Living Rooms: | There is a spacious open-plan living area with large L-shaped sofa, table and chairs. DVD player and board games. Two pairs of French doors open onto the covered terrace overlooking the swimming pool. There is also a door leading to the breakfast terrace. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Villa Ana is cleaned once a week when towels and bed linen are changed. |
Notes on accommodation
Due to the depth of the swimming pool and steps down from the terrace we do not consider this villa suitable for children under the age of four. We regret no pets. Villa Ana is a non smoking villa.
Outside
A covered terrace overlooks the swimming pool (8 x 4 x 1.3m) with views across open countryside. There is a south facing patio around the pool and a large barbecue. Sun loungers and outside tables and chairs are provided. There is a gated drive, providing secure parking for 2 cars. The gardens around the villa have recently been landscaped.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful beaches of pebble and stone with crystal clear water are located in small coves along the coast within a 10 to 15 minute drive.
Tucked between pine forests and olive groves are the tourist resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna.

Pula - 40 mins (Ryanair, Thompsonfly).
Trieste - 1hr 45 mins (Ryanair).
Rijeka - 1hr 45 mins (EasyJet).
Ljublijana - 2hrs 45 mins (EasyJet).
Venice - 2hrs 45 mins (Ryanair, Thomsonfly, EasyJet).
Car hire is essential.

Motovun - a fortified hill town famous for its truffles- 40 mins.
Groznjan- medieval hilltop village with artist studios -40mins.
Pula- Roman Amphitheatre, staging summer concerts- 40 mins.
Venice- from Porec, daily return on FastCat ferry- 2hrs.
Further details
There are extensive sporting facilities nearby, catering for all the family. These include water skiing, scuba diving, sailing, an aqua playground, tennis courts, horse riding, mini-golf, quad biking, gym and an indoor swimming pool. A cycle route links Villa Ana with Porec and the coast. The well marked bike paths make cycling an excellent way to experience the gently rolling countryside.
There is an exciting choice of restaurants offering traditional dishes of grilled fish and meat, specialities prepared under a coal-covered metal lid (peka), the famed Istrian truffles as well as international cuisine. Most restaurants offer menus in English.
The old town of Porec with its maze of narrow, cobbled streets is a delight for you to explore. It has a bustling market selling fresh, locally grown organic produce. At night, the town comes alive. It abounds with restaurants, bars, clubs, ice-cream parlours and the occasional street performers.
