Set in a peaceful, rural location, this well equipped, one bedroom cottage is designed specifically as a get-away for couples. Nestling at the bottom of half an acre of landscaped grounds and built in a rustic style, it has its own private garden and terrace, complete with BBQ and teak/cane garden furniture. Inside there is a large bedroom with a king-size bed, open-plan living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. To keep you snug in the winter, there is an open fire (wood provided) and central heating. The swimming pool is shared only with the owners (an English couple) and there is covered parking in a secure walled courtyard at front of owner’s property. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village and surrounded by ancient woodland, where it is possible to walk for miles. Located close to the new Trieste-Pula main road, the cottage is ideally placed for sightseeing across the whole of Istria.

Prices shown are for the property per week and are charged in Euros.
Shorter periods are possible on request. 5% discount for 2nd week. 10% for 3rd week. Long and winter lets possible. Please give me a call to discuss.
Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Tuesday. Other changeover days are possible, except in July and August.

Cottage is cleaned once a week. Bed linen, bath and T-towels are provided and changed weekly, including pool towels. Linen is also available for sofa-bed at a small additional charge. |
Notes on accommodation
House has official tourist classification for legal renting in Croatia.
General supplies like washing-up liquid, cling film and kitchen towel are provided, along with a few essentials to get you started – wine, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits etc. Bikes and cool box with ice packs available on request. Safe in bedroom. Hairdryer provided. No children.

Outside
Set in 2000m2 grounds, the cottage has its own private garden (c.100m2) with terrace, BBQ and teak/cane garden furniture. 12x5m swimming pool (1.2–1.6m deep) is shared only with the owners and there is a separate terrace area with lounger chairs around the pool for the sole use of guests. The cottage is located on the edge of woodlands, where it is possible to walk for miles.
Coast/Beach
The cottage is 10 mins drive from the beach in Porec. Other seaside towns such as Vrsar, Rovinj and Pula are only a little further away.
Travel
Pula Airport 40 mins. (Rynair, Flyglobespan & Thompson). Trieste Airport 1hr 30 mins. (Ryanair). Ljubljana Airport 2 hrs. (Wizzair & Easyjet). Rijeka airport 1hr 30 mins. (Easyjet). Venice 2 hours away by high speed ferry. Car is essential.
Distances
Basic shops (markets) in Baderna (3km) and Zbandaj (4km). Main supermarket in Porec (10km). Post office in Baderna. Numerous restaurants in area, closest 1km.
Further details
Porec, with its many restaurants and large supermarkets is only 10 mins drive away. Venice is reachable by ferry in just 2 hours. There are also other restaurants and supermarkets closer by. Having recently moved to Croatia, the owners are happy to share house-hunting expertise (if requested) or simply leave you completely in peace!
Booking notes
20% deposit on booking, remainder 4 weeks prior to arrival.
100 euros damage deposit. You should arrange your own cancellation and travel insurance.
