A one double bedroom apartment, situated 150 metres from the sea with 2 balconies, 1 large enough for 2 sun loungers, a table and chairs, overlooking the sea. 30 mins drive door to door from Split airport makes Rogoznica ideal for those not wishing to spend too long in the car or for those who have limited time. The old town of Sibenik is 30 mins drive away North of the town and Split itself approx 1 hour to the South. Other beautiful old towns such as Trogir and Primosten are an easy 15-20 mins drive away in both directions.

20 mins to Trogir and approx 15 mins to Primosten. Sibenik is approx 30 mins drive away to the North.
Further details
A supermarket, 2 bakers (one of them open 24 hours in the summer) and a butcher as well as a cash machine and various cafes, bars and restaurants are approx 10 mins walk away. The pretty old town of Rogoznica, on an island, is a short stroll away with pretty winding back streets, more cafes, a post office and a church at the top of the hill with beautiful views of the sea. You can also take a walk around the island itself and across to the marina where you can swim in their very smart pool or have a drink at the bar. Swimming places are everywhere, the nearest being 150 metres approx (1 min walk) from the flat and there is also a diving centre in the old town. Behind the marina lies a beautiful sea water lagoon.
Booking notes
A £200 deposit is required when making the booking, which doubles as the breakage deposit, refundable in full a week after you return. The cost of your accommodation is payable in euros 60 days before departure or at the time of booking if this date has passed.

About the owner
I first fell in love with Croatia on a sailing holiday in 2004. The crystal clear waters of the Adriatic are undeniably welcoming as are the people. I returned the following year with the idea of finding a retreat to which I could escape when UK weather or general stress became too much to handle.
I now like to share the experience with others and find that they too inevitably have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
We also share the wonderful location of our house in the UK which we have had the good fortune to occupy for over 25 years and which lies beside the River Blackwater. A self contained annexe with it's own garden onto the river provides a perfect hideaway for two for either short stays or temporary accommodation for visiting relatives or between house sale and purchase.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
This was purchased by my daughter on the same visit to Croatia. At the time she had no children but was expecting her first and anticipating holidays with him in the Croatian sunshine.
Since then she has had another child and finds the property a touch too small for the family although it is still perfect for a couple with one child or very cosy for two couples who get on well.
Unique benefits of the property
Villa Elena is very well placed for enjoying the large village of Rogoznica which offers much for the holiday maker in terms of facilities. It has a good view of the bay without being right on the sea and so is quieter and more private. A short walk into town gives access to all the local shops you need for food, coffee, fresh bread etc. and it is so close to Split airport that you can do it in approx 40 mins or less if you know the way. Rogoznica is lively in the Summer months and there are loads of restaurants and bars not to mention the very glitzy marina with its very ritzy clientele!
One of the best things about Elena is the charming couple downstairs Maria and Luca, who, although they speak hardly any english, will be charming and welcoming during your stay.
