It offers the ideal location for a relaxing holiday with stunning panoramic views of untouched Mediterranean landscape and crystal clear turquoise waters. Changeover day
We are flexible on dates and do not have a particular changeover day. Guests must check out of apartments by 10am on day of departure and on arrival will not be able to check in before 3pm.

Accommodation

The apartment is 80sqm in size and the balcony is 20sqm. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and patio doors giving garden, sea and poolside views. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. There is also a good quality fold away single bed with sprung mattress. The bathroom has bath, shower and bidet. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with full size fridge freezer, stainless steel cooker/oven, iron, hairdryer, pots/pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, fruit/salad bowls, cups, glasses and coffee pot. There is also a dining table with four chairs. The living area has a 2 and 3 seater sofa, sky TV, stereo, DVD player and a selection of DVDs. It also has patio doors that give access to the balcony. The balcony provides an outside dining area furnished with beautifully crafted solid teak furniture, includes 2 steamer chairs, a round 120cm dining table and four chairs and has great sea views.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with full size fridge freezer, stainless steel cooker/oven, iron, hairdryer, pots/pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, fruit/salad bowls, cups, glasses and coffee pot. There is a dining table with four chairs. The living area has a 2 and 3 seater sofa, sky TV, stereo, DVD player and a selection of DVDs. It has patio doors that give access to the balcony. Notes on accommodation
Amarillo villas is suitable for relaxing family holidays and all 3 apartments have air conditioning offering both cool and hot air. Linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. The swimming pool is heated throughout the holiday season apart from July and August when temperatures can reach 38 degress. The pool is 1.3m deep and is ideal for children. There are two swings in the garden one suitable for children up to age 3 and the other for slightly older children. A fold away cot is available for families who have a baby. Accessibility
Apartment 1 (ground floor) has a slope for wheelchair access and the corridors are ample for maneuvering without difficulty. The outside area has shingle and paved areas. The shingle area is more difficult for maneuvering, however would be manageable with someone pushing the wheelchair. The paved areas would offer no problems for maneuvering.

Outside
Amarillo villas has a large communal garden and swimming pool that is 6x4x 1.3m deep. The swimming pool is heated throughout the holiday season apart from July and Aug when temperatures can reach 38 degrees. There is a BBQ area with poolside seating. There are 8 sunbeds for relaxing by the pool and parasols are provided for a bit of shade. Guests have use of a kayak canoe (at their own liability), perfect for exploring the bay. There is parking for 3 cars.

Coast/Beach
Amarillo villas is located 70m from the sea and offers crystal waters perfect for swimming. Nearby is Stari Trogir. The sea here was once littered with ancient artefacts, which have now been recovered by many of the locals, however you can still see some of the old walls that are partially submerged by the sea. There is a small pretty sandy beach, which provides the ideal opportunity for sunbathing and swimming. It can be reached by a 10min walk round the bay, or 5min drive over the hill.

Travel
The nearest airport is Split is approx 30mins drive. Zadar airport is approx 1.5-2 hrs drive and some companies offer good deals from the UK to Zadar. Zargreb airport is approx 3 hrs drive. Driving from the UK is possible but is about 24hrs drive from Calais. Having a car is essential whilst you are in Croatia and there are several well known car hire companies that operate from all the airports. I would recommend that you pre-book your car, so that it is ready for your arrival.

Distances
Sevid is an ideal base for visiting the treasures in Croatia. Trogir, 30mins drive, is an ancient town approx 2800yrs old. Split, 45mins drive has a lovely old town that is well worth a visit, you can get ferries from both these towns to several of the islands. Primosten, 30mins drive is a beautiful town perfect for lunch and a swim. Krka national park, approx 45mins is a labrynth of spectacular waterfalls that you swim under in the summer. Access is via a free boat from Skradin or by car.

Further details
There is a small shop and two restaurants in Sevid. One of the restaurants is run by the owner of the shop and overlooks the sea. The shop stocks fresh bread and cakes daily, some vegetables and meat, cheeses, ham, and the famous Croatian ham prsut, a wide selection of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic, eggs, milk and most of the basic essentials you could need. To get to the shop you walk down to the beach from the apartments and turn left and walk along the seafront until you see the restaurant. This is approx 5 mins walk. The other restaurant is left when you get to the beach and is approx 10 mins walk round the bay. They offer fresh fish and meats as well as salads and side dishes. This restaurant has the perfect seaside setting and offers a tranquil setting for lunch or an evening meal with stunning views. The nearest big town is Trogir which has banks, bars and many restaurants. Trogir is an ancient medieval town that is approx 2,800 yrs old and is well worth a visit or two. You can get a ferry from here to two small islands which are perfect to visit if you fancy a day lazing around and swimming in the unspoilt waters. There is a large selection of restaurants in Trogir offering a range of foods, most of them have fairly reasonable prices. There are several supermarkets here, as well as a fresh fruit and vegetable market and a fish market. It is best to buy your fresh fruit and veg from the market as the quality is far superior to the supermarket fruit and vegetables. Many of the produce in the market is grown and produced by the locals. Some of the local cheeses and honey are really good quality. There are several money changing places dotted around the market and the town centre. Local activities include diving, sailing, cycling and hiking.

Booking notes
Please contact us for availabilty. A refundable deposit of £200 is payable in addition to the cost of the apartments. 50% of the costs will be required to secure your booking and the balance will be due 30 days prior to departure. Should you wish to cancel your booking, 50% of the cost will be retained, unless we can fill the space. If the space can be filled, you will loose £50 administration fee. Please note that you will be required to pay tourist tax when you arrive in Croatia.
