Tucked away in the quiet pedestrian area of the old and historic village of Orebic, Bizarova is ideally placed to sample and experience all that the area has to offer. A mere 30 metres from the sea, this lovely old stone house is less than 5 minutes walk from several good restaurants and the main beach and being centrally located on the Orebic promenade, allows a sunny stroll in either direction. At night, the promenade comes to life with many stalls and shops. A regular ferry service to the island of Korcula is also only a few minutes walk away. Korcula Old Town is known for its architecture and for being the birthplace of Marco Polo. The remodelled interior of this property provides a modern shower bathroom and lounge/kitchenette downstairs and a bright and airy bedroom upstairs with a view of Mount Ilija. You will probably only need the kitchen for breakfast (and to keep the white wine cold!) as all the great food you could possibly need is just seconds away.

The air conditioners have heater capability.
Accessibility
In the summer months, parking is 200m away but it's a pleasant seafront walk. Off season parking is 30 metres away.
Outside
Table and 2 chairs available to sit outside the front door or to take the 30 metres to the seafront.
Coast/Beach
30 metres to the sea and sunbathing - 5 minutes stroll to the main beach. There are dozens of beaches and sunbathing spots in the local area.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dubrovnik which is a very beautiful 2 hour drive away. You can also arrive into Split which is a 3 hour drive. Should you arrive by ferry to Korcula, you will need to take another ferry to Orebic (15 minute transfer). You are then a 7 minute walk from Bizarova. I would always suggest hiring a car to allow you to explore the area but due to Bizarova's location, it's not necessary. Transfer from the airport can be arranged at additional cost.

Orebic offers supermarkets, banks, internet cafes, restaurants, bars, cafes, bakers, greengrocers, chemists - everything you could need. On the road between Orebic and Viganj you will find places offering tennis, boule, boat hire, car hire, bicycle hire, scuba diving and watersports equipment hire including all forms of wind and kitesurfing.
Booking notes
Upon booking I will ask for a 30% non-returnable deposit with the balance payable 90 days before the date of the booking. I also ask for a £100 deposit against breakages which will be returned to you after the premises have been checked and cleared.

Great food (and wine!) We recommend breakfast, lunch and dinner by the sea - why cook?! A trip to Korcula is a must. The kids loved their sofabed. The B family - Norway.
