Piccola Corta is located on a cobbled street in the heart of old town Rovinj with cafes and restaurants overlooking the small harbour within a few minutes walk. We are in the car free zone but only 5 minutes walk from a carpark. The apartment has a stunning arcaded courtyard for your exclusive use (with a barbeque) where you can relax either in the sun or under the tree. Perfect for private candlelit evenings. We provide 2 bicycles for you to explore the coastline past small beaches and through pine woods. The apartment has air conditioning and heating. We restored the apartment in 2008 preserving its original character while providing all high quality contemporary facilities and furnishings.

Prices are for the property per night in pounds sterling.
Saturday changeover June, July, August.
January to May 4 night minimum.

Changeover day
Saturday from June to end September except within 4 weeks of your booking date. Minimum 1 week except out of season is 4 days. Arrival is normally after 4 pm. Departure at 10.00am.

Living Rooms: Lounge/dining room with leather sofa and armchair, dining table with 4 chairs, satellite TV and DVD player. Airconditioning and heating and window screens.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor except for the twin bedroom which is down a steep staircase not suitable for small children or the infirm. The car free street is cobbled with an uneven surface and has a small incline up to the apartment. Car parking is 5 minutes walk further up the hill.

Outside
The pretty courtyard is very unusual in old town Rovinj. It is arcaded on 2 sides and is both sunny and shaded by a tree with 4 armchairs, a table and a lounger and a barbeque. It is for the exclusive use of guests staying at our apartment.

Coast/Beach
Less than 5 minutes walk to the harbour cafes and restaurants. Also 5 minutes to swimming off the rocks. Pebbly beach lined with pine trees is a 20 minute walk around the harbour on the south side. Small motor boats for hire to go out to the island beaches (half hour) or snorkel in clear water from the boat. Beaches are mostly rocky.

Golf
Golf can be played on the island of Brioni. This is a 45 min drive/boat trip away.

Travel
Ryanair fly from London Stansted to Pula Airport. (Pula is 40 minutes drive from Rovinj- we can arrange for you to be collected).
You can also fly to Pula from Gatwick, Heathrow, Bristol, Birmingham, Durham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
Trieste airport is 2 hours from Rovinj. www.ryanair.com
Venice (Ryanair and Easyjet) is 3.5 hours by boat from Rovinj- (boats do not sail every day)

Distances
95km to Trieste, 38km to Pula, 20km to Porec, 40km to Umag, 20km to Fasana for boats to the The Brijuni Islands.

Further details
Rovinj is a romantic Venetian town with clear blue sea. It is car free and intimate with plenty of history, trendy shops and restaurants located around the small harbour. Fresh fish and excellent wine. A National Park with small beaches and pine trees, boat trips to one of the 19 islands. Snorkelling in a warm sea. Grisia street (painters showcase), and many back streets to discover. Internet point 5 minutes walk on Carera Street. You can also explore the rest of Istria by rented car- The amphitheatre at Pula, Motovun and Groznjan which are medieval hilltop towns, Porec, Vodnjan, Fazana fishing village to Briuni Islands- all within an hour or two from Rovinj.

Booking notes
We prefer payment by Paypal - which is fast and secure. We will send you a simple online invoice. Where this is not possible, you can send us the deposit by cheque or directly to our bank account. Please note that there is a small one off tourist tax of €2.70, and then €1 per day in the summer. This will be collected on arrival by our agent Sanja.
