Changeover day

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation benefits from air conditioning and central heating in the villa, also the underfloor heating in the living room. It is suitable for children because of many terraces and grassland for a play, but take attention of steps around. Cot and highchair can be requested if needed. Our guests have at their disposal a mobile phone (with Croatian pre-paid card for local network), during their stay in the house. Being small and run by family is a great advantage in offering personal attention flexibility and friendliness, comfort and quality, an atmosphere that reflex the local colour and blends tradition with family setting, which will help you to spend unforgettable days on one of the most beautiful coasts.
Accessibility
Sorry to say this house is not suitable for people with mobility problems because of many steps around the garden and access to the sea.
Outside
Villa is surrounded by a huge (3000 sq.m.) terraced garden, with grasslands and natural green shade; also a stone covered terraces with parasols, all with suitable outside teak and bamboo furniture (deckchairs, armchairs tables). About 80 sq.m. of patio around the villa will make your relaxation even better while you enjoy the view. There is a good barbecue under the patio and the other near the pool both with suitable stone tables and chairs for eating al fresco. The large swimming pool (13m x 5,5m) with Roman steps is only on your disposal. The depth from 1.4m to 1.8m. In the beautiful garden you can enjoy in a season fruits and vegetables. The garden and pool are periodically nurtured by the owners who lives in a separate house on the property . All around the house you can enjoy a stunning view to the see and a little hamlet in the foot of the bay.
Coast/Beach
The whole property is located on a cape between 2 bays and surrounded by the sea on 3 sides. A direct access to the sea (air distance 50m). Nearest beach is about 80 steps leading down to the sea and small stone jetty where you can sunbathe, swim to the sea or rent a dinghy and explore beautiful coves and beaches all around. There are also a lot of lovely stone and pebble beaches all around the island Brac (including famose Golden Cape) you can reach by car (distances from 7km to 45km).
Travel
The nearest airport is on the island Brac but only for a small airplanes. The main airport is Split airport - 25km from the port of Split, where you can take a ferry for Supetar - port on Island Brac. 45 mins of crossing the channel and Bobovisca on the Sea are 15 minutes on the west coast of the island. As it is a small village, it is recommended to use a car to take excursion to the other villages and places on the island.
Distances
There is a little village of Bobovisca within walking distance about 300m, where is a little shop, a simple restaurant and a small bar. Distance to the other bigger places are from 7km (Sutivan, Milna) and the little town - Supetar (14km) where are supermarkets, open markets, shops, restaurants, bars and banks. Other interesting places on the island are within the distance of 45km.
Further details
The island Brac is the largest island of the Central Dalmatian group of islands and one of the easiest to get to. It is also very attractive with pretty waterside towns and villages. It is covered by woods of pines, olives, figs, vineyards, but famous for his marble, that is a heart of the island. Many buildings in the world have been built by this white stone, like White House in Washington DC, ancient (1700 years old) and famous Diocletian palace in Split, as many amphitheatres, temples, palaces and simple houses all over Dalmatia. Of course it is very interesting to visit beautiful town of Split and its palace still living, but also many places on the island Brac, like the highest peak of the mountain Vidova Gora, with a restaurant and a stunning view to the other islands. One of the most beautiful pebble beaches the Golden Cape has stretched Brac into the sea towards the south with its half km long body and is the only natural beach in the world formed vertically to the coast and changes its shape according to the wind. The place of the special interest is also the old relatively inhospitable monastery at Blaca, from 16th century, built in stone, and partly cut in the rock. Famous for its library, portraits, paintings, collection of old rifles of Blaca seamen - used for defence of pirates, and for the first telescope in this part of Europe. In the middle of the summer season nearly every village on island Brac organize "fiestas" with folk or classic concerts as a special entertaining program.
Booking notes
30% deposit is required at the time of booking .Full payment 8 weeks before arrival. In case of cancellation 80% balance is refunded if cancellation is made between 8 & 6 weeks before arrival. 50% of balance is refunded, if cancellation is made between 6 & 4 weeks before arrival. No refund is made in the last 4 weeks before data of arrival. At the time of arrival a refundable 300 Euros will be asked to cover eventual damages.
