The brand new Villa Dorida is situated in a former fishing village Komarna, 70km north of Dubrovnik. Our apartments have large balconies overlooking the sea, small islands and the Peljesac peninsula. Enjoy this stunning view while dinning al fresco. Inside each apartment, there is a large bedroom with a double bed, open-plan living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. Komarna is a friendly and safe village, and a great place for a quiet and relaxing vacation. There is a mini-market, bar, restaurant/pizzeria in the village. For those wanting to explore the area while on vacation, there are many sightseeing spots. Embark on a Neretva river safari from the village Vid, only 30km from Komarna and don't forget to taste the local specialities, like frogs and eels.

A private parking spot is available in the back of the villa.

Coast/Beach
Villa Dorida is a seafront property looking on to the village beach. The water is crystal clear. If you prefer pebble beach, it is only 300m away.

Dubrovnik Airport 90 km, Split Airport 160 km.
Motorway A1 Rijeka/Zagreb-Makarska (exit Sestanovac). After reaching Makarska continue on the main road (E65) that runs along the coast, direction Dubrovnik. Komarna is 70 km south of Makarska. A car is essential.

Further details
In Komarna you will find a mini market, bar and restaurant/pizzeria. In Neum (BiH) (5 km) and Metkovic (25km) there are supermarkets, fresh market, fish market, butchery, etc.
There are many places of interest: the Roman town of Narona with a museum (village Vid; 30km); the town of Mostar, BIH (65km) with its old Turkish houses and the UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Bridge; Dubrovnik (70km) is called The 'Pearl of the Adriatic', the old city (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE) with beautifully preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains; Ston with its protective wall built in the 15th century by the Dubrovnik Republic. It is 5.5km long with 10 round and 31 rectangular towers. The oysters of Ston are particularly famous.
