This stone, built apartment, in a traditional Istrian style, is located in the picturesque small town of Novigrad, on the north-west shore of the Istrian Peninsula. The accommodation consists of an extensive, traditionally furnished kitchen with a fireplace, a big table, a couch and satellite TV. The exit from the dining room leads onto a covered terrace, equipped with a table, where you can enjoy sitting in the shade, as well as the view of the green lawn and garden. The stairway next to the dining room leads down into the lower story, which comprises of an extensive room with a large matrimonial bed and a single bed. The room is furnished in an antique style. The bathroom with the toilet and shower is also there. The house is merely 200 meters away from the sea, in the vicinity of the Novigrad marina and the beach. There is ample parking space as well as a barbecue facility.

The apartment is located in the middle of the town, near the new marina (hotel and Wellness centre with use of facilities inc. swimming pool) is less than 200m away with bathing, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, car/bike/boat hire, bus and taxi service and bars all within 5 minutes walk. There is ample parking space, as well as a barbecue facility.

Travel
(There are now several easy routes with budget airlines making Istria accessible. The easiest route is to Pula from Stansted (Ryanair). This is now a 45 min drive. Trieste airport in Italy is an easy 75 mins drive (Ryanair). Car hire is recommended and can easily be arranged through Ryanair. Rijeka airport is 75 mins drive (Easyjet - Luton) flying directly into Croatia. It is also possible to fly to Pula in Istria (45 mins drive) from Scotland (flyglobespan).

Distances
Novigrad is within easy distance of the popular coastal towns of Porec (15km) and Rovinj (30km) which are to the south. To the north and east, Inland Istria is unspoilt and is famous for many inland hilltop towns such as Motovun, Oprtalj and Groznjan, all within 25 mins of Novigrad. The area around Novigrad is famous for wines, olive oil and truffles with several selected routes to explore at your leisure. Slovenia is within 30 minutes drive and offers coastal and inland areas of beauty.
