Villa Jasmine is in the Istrian countryside, surrounded by vineyards and close to the beautiful Istrian town of Motovun. The town is a few kilometres away and here you will find restaurants and various shops. The villa makes an ideal base to explore Istria with lovely towns and coastal resorts, all within striking distance. It is perfect for self catering holidays as the kitchen is well equipped and there is a BBQ in the garden. If you don't want to cook there are various restaurants close by. The villa has been recently renovated and looks traditional on the outside but also has all the luxuries of a new house inside. It is fully furnished to a high standard and even has heating and double glazing if you would like to visit outside of the summer months.

Saturday is preferable but not essential.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds (small room, so best for children). Bedroom 4 with single bed. Cot can be hired if requested. |
| Bathrooms: | 2 shower rooms. |
| Kitchen: | Oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine (in an out house). Kitchen has large table. High chair can be hired if requested. |
| Living Rooms: | Comfortable and cosy living room with TV and DVD player. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included but we do ask you to bring your own beach towels to use in the garden. The property is cleaned once a week and the linen is changed at the same time. |
Notes on accommodation
There are very efficient electric radiators throughout the house. There are steep steps in the villa, as is often the case in traditional houses. Care is needed but our children cope with them with no problems.

Outside
There are lawned areas in the garden for the sun beds and a patio area, partly shaded which has table and benches underneath. There is an outside barbeque and parking space fora car. There is a private pool (6m x 4m).
Coast/Beach
The beautiful town of Porec is easily got to by car for an evening meal or a day out by the sea. It takes about 30 mins to reach from the villa so in no time at all you can explore the pretty streets and taste the wonderful ice creams.
Travel
You will need a car to reach our villa and to get around.
It can be reached from Pula and Rijeka airports (45 minutes drive) and from airports in Italy, Venice and Trieste (3 hours and 1 1/2 hours respectively).
Distances
The hill town of Motovun is on your doorstep with Groznjan close by. This is another hill town known for its galleries and wonderful views. If you want to visit the sea then Porec and Rovinj are picturesque harbours with cobbled streets and plenty of places to sit and eat whilst watching the world go by. There is a Roman amphitheatre in Pula which is worth a visit.
Further details
Boat trips to Venice and the Brijuni Islands are possible from many harbours. With options of visiting caves, lovely walks, bike riding and wine trails there will be plenty for you to do!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Jasmine! Many times during our stay we all commented on how lovely the house had been restored and garden landscaped. We also appreciated the quiet nights of the country. Opening up the house shutters and looking out in the mornings over the garden to yet another sunny day was a pleasure.
