Villa Miriana offers two spacious and bright apartments (for 6 and 8 people), with stunning sea views and extra large front and side terraces. Villa Miriana is in a secluded position and enjoys tranquility and privacy. It is surrounded by mature gardens, full of mediterranean fruit trees and spices (lemons, figs, kiwi, mandarines, olives, nuts, rosemarine...). One of the gardens hosts a stone barbecue, with its table and chairs located under a lovely olive tree. Each apartment occupies an entire floor of the villa, giving additional privacy to our guests. Best beaches with transparent turquoise water are just 0.6 miles away. Rabac is a former fishing village, known today as "the Pearl of the Kvarner bay". It is 25 miles distant from Pula, with direct Ryanair flights from London Stansted. Rabac offers wonderful beaches, restaurants with local Istrian cuisine and various sporting activities (tennis, mini-golf, beach-volley, diving, snorkeling, paragliding, water skiing).

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have Satellite TV (Astra), heating but no air-conditioning.
Access to wireless internet is also available at the villa.
Grocery shops, a bank, the post office, the doctor and pharmacy are all within 0,3 miles distance.
We are open all year and welcome pets.
Accessibility
Regrettably not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
Villa Miriana is surrounded by mature gardens with olive and other fruit threes that can be enjoyed by our guests.
Apartments include outdoor furniture (sunbeds, table, chairs etc) and a barbecue facility is available (sto be hared between the 2 apartments).
Private parking is available as well.
Coast/Beach
Villa Miriana is 0,6 miles distant from the best beaches. Beaches are within walking distance although we would recommend to reach the beaches by car in case you are travelling with young children.
Golf
Closest golf course is on the Island of Brioni and distances an hour drive (+ 10 minute boat) from Rabac.

Ryanair – from London to Pula Airport, 3 times a week (Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) starting from beginning of April each year.

Rabac is the major tourist resort on the eastern coast of the Istrian Peninsula, some 40 kilometers away from Pula and only five kilometers from Labin. Situated in Kvarner Bay, at the foot of towering slopes protecting the town and also ensuring a mild Mediterranean climate, Rabac with a tourist capacity of nearly 10,000 beds can justly claim the title of ‘the pearl of Kvarner’.
Wonderful surrounding, lovely pebbly beach, pleasant climate and view of Kvarner Bay all attracted holiday-makers and travel writers as early as the mid-19th century when Rabac was just a small fishing village.
Apart from its rich catering, sports and entertainment offer, Rabac offers numerous excursion possibilities especially to the Istrian interior with numerous agritouristic complexes.
And just above Rabac, nestling on the top of the hill at a height of 320m above sea level lies the old mining town of Labin. Today, when the mines have been closed down, this town, where all historical sights become true historical gems, presents itself in a new guise. An increasing number of galleries, bars, studios, modern and famous multicultural center as the crossroads of the young generation, have all found their ideal location right here in Labin, which all adds to the tourist offer of Rabac.
In the vicinity of Rabac are medieval towns such as Pican, Graisce, Pazin and Boljun that are also interesting sites to visit. The slopes of Mt. Ucka offer possibilities for hiking, and further south, at Skita a with a magnificent view of Kvarner, besides hiking and trekking there are possibilities for other sports like free climbing, riding and mountain biking.

30% deposit is required once the booking is made. Deposit to be paid within 5 days from booking confirmation. The rest of balance payment is due at arrival. No security deposit is required. Cancellation refunds - Up to 8 weeks before – 100% of your deposit will be given back to you with a charge of £25 for costs.

Your restaurant recommendations were excellent - we went to the Nostromo for Brian's birthday and had some excellent fish and to Calussovo on the last day.
We visited many places - Labin, Pazin. Motovun, Porec and Rovinj and we went on a boat trip and a jazz night in Labin.

I live in Rabac with my husband Veljko, our son Vlado and a lovely cat called Severino. Our daughter Lara lives in London.
My husband and I are originally from Istra and have lived here all our lives. We have both recently retired and are now even more enjoying the great outdoors and gastronomy that Istra has to offer.

My husband and I build Villa Miriana during the early 1980's and moved in in 1987.
We choose Rabac because of it's nature, beautiful turquoise beaches and relaxed lifestyle.
We choose to buy in this particular position in Rabac due to the spectacular view towards the Kvarner bay and it's secluded aspect.
Unique benefits of the property
Our villa enjoys one of the best views towards Rabac and the Kvarner bay.
Just imagine having breakfast whilst looking across the bay towards 4 islands, the corner of your eye checking the movement of fishing and sailing boats in the Rabac marina and whilst enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
