Villa Jade’ is a stunning stone villa. Within Villa Jade there are 4 luxury self contained apartments available for rent. The villa is on the water’s edge with wonderful sea and mountain views, steps leading down to a small pebbled beach just in front of the villa, inc private boat mooring. There are 2 ground floor apartments fully air-conditioned, each sleeping 2+2 persons, consisting double bedroom, lounge/diner with double sofabed and fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and satellite TV and car parking. Both G/F apartments lead out to large terraces with wonderful sea and mountain views. Ground floor apartments 1 and 2 are interconnecting, so can be rented separately or as one large apartment sleeping up to 8 persons. Our L/G floor apt sleeps 2+2 kids and is highly finished. Our attic apt sleeps 4+2, consisting of 2 double bedrooms, lounge/diner with double sofabed and full A/C, 24'' satellite TV, fully fitted kitchen, luxury bathroom with corner bath, separate toilet.

The attic apartment is a beautifully finished modern space with marble floors to the main living area, highly polished parquet floors to the bedrooms. Very large living/dining room seating up to 6 people, fully fitted kitchen, corner sofa which coverts to a large double bed. Air conditioning, 24'' satellite TV. 1 large luxury bathroom with corner bath/shower, toilet and bidet, sink with lit dressing mirror, also separate toilet cloakroom.
The whole apartment has dimmer switch lighting for a lovely ambiance in the evenings.
The attic apartment has 2 large balcony doors with lovely views of the sea & mountains.
Parking for 2 cars right outside the apartment entrance.
The Attic apartment was brand newly finished in 2007).
All apartments within Villa Jade have access to our laundry room where we have an ironing board and professional steam iron, additionally a washing/laundry service is available by request if required.

The lounge/diner consists of fully fitted kitchen, dining table for inside & outside use inc umbrella, coffee table, corner sofa which converts easily into a comfortable double bed, satellite TV, full air-conditioning, 1 double bedroom with bedside units, lamps and double wardrobe.
Large bathroom includes shower, toilet , sink and lit dressing mirror.
Car parking spaces are provided in front of the villa.
Note: there is an interconnecting door between the 2 ground floor apartments allowing them to be used as 1 big apartment for a large family or group sleeping up to 8 persons.

Our lower ground floor apartment is finished to a very high standard sleeping 2+2 ideal for a couple or small family. It consists of a lounge with corner sofa which converts easily into a double sofabed for the kids, a coffee table and flat screen TV and A/C. Their are large sliding glass doors leading straight out to a large stone terrace with fantastic sea and mountain views directly in front of the villa. There's a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar & stools.The apartment has 1 double bedroom with bedside units, lamps and wardrobe + dressing table. A nice bathroom which includes shower, toilet, sink and lit dressing mirror. On the terrace there is a outdoor table, chairs & umbrella for ouside dining looking over the garden and to the sea and mountains, from the terrace their is a lovely stone staircase leading down to the beach. Car parking is provided in front of the villa if req. Laundry room access available for steam ironing, additional washing/laundry available on request.

Outside
Villa Jade is just 10m from the sea, also has its own private boat mooring on a beautiful stone dock. Just walk down the big stone staircase and you are on our small pebbled beach and the water here is absolutely crystal clear.
All apartments within our Villa look over the garden and out to the sea and mountains with amazing views..
All of our ground floor apartments have large stone terraces with outdoor tables, chairs & umbrellas + sun loungers with small drink tables. Our attic apartment has 2 large balcony doors looking out to sea and mountains + small terrace to the back of the villa with table and 2 chairs.

Coast/Beach
Villa Jade is in a wonderful location only 10 metres from the beach where you can swim in crystal clear water and yet only a 10/15 min walk to historic Korcula town. There is a small pebble beach in front of the house and beautiful stone dock that can be used for bathing. Also along the walk to Korcula old town there are many small areas down from the road where you can find small quiet boat docks for swimming and sunbathing, reading a book etc (very private if you want to get away from it all.

Travel
Dubrovnik Airport is approx 150km from Island Korcula. Car rental is available at the airport or we have details of a company running regular minibus/Car service door to door if required, there are also various ships and a catarmaran services to the island. Once at Villa Jade a car is not necessary unless you wish to see the other parts Korcula Island. Its only a 10/15 mins walk to the historic walled city of Korcula town.

Distances
Historic Korcula town is a 10/15 mins scenic walk along the coast where you can find many lovely shops, art galleries, resturants & cafe's etc.
Local supermarket is approx 5 mins walk away.

Further details
Korcula is the greenest and one of the most beautiful and most interesting of Croatia's 1000 or so Adriatic islands and was said to be a favourite Greek holiday spot over 2000 years ago and the birthplace of the great traveller Marco Polo. Korcula old town is described as a mini fortress, a walled city enclosed within honey colored stone walls that contained a labyrinth of quaint cobbled streets with many architectural delights, art galleries, lots of lovely shops, restaurants and bars. All this is just a 10 mins scenic walk along the coast from Villa Jade. Various day trips are available by boat to the beautiful ancient walled city of Dubrovnik and the lovely islands of Hvar, Mljet and Lastovo. Things to do include: local boat hire (licence required), scuba diving + local scuba school, wind surfing, fishing and bicycle hire.

Booking notes
Please note conditions to booking: a deposit of 30% is required at time of booking, on receipt a written confirmation will be sent out. The balance due to be paid at least 60 days before the holiday. Please also include an additional security deposit of £150 per apartment to cover breakages, missing items etc. On leaving the apartments in good order the deposit will be refunded by cheque not later than 7 days from the date of your return home. Payments accepted, cash, cheque - bank transfer.
