Penthouse apartments on the Island of Ciovo. 20 mins from Split airport. 3 mins to beach and local restaurant. All mod cons, incl CD player and digital TV. Close to Trogir. Fresh bed linen and towels supplied. 4 star accommodation. There is a small market 1 minute from the apartment. The supermarket and main village is a 10-15 minute walk from the apt. There are also water sports and activities 10 minutes further along the beach. Tennis club and courts 3 mins walk. Hotel Villa Katrina is 4 min walk from apt and has a very good restaurant catering all day. Trogir is 5 minutes away by car and water taxi. Trogir is a medieval town with over 100 restaurants and bars and a beautiful port with entertainment and cocktail bars. We also have a two bed three bath penthouse available on Ciovo. Penthouse Marvarcica features a pool and large balcony area which has amazing views of the Adriatic. We have a variety of games at each penthouse to enjoy - poker set, jenka, chess and draughts board.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property(s) per week in euros.
Longer lets welcome. To confirm your booking 50% of the rental amount needs to be transferred into the bank account. This is non refundable. The remainder is then due one calendar month before your arrival. We highly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers illnesses, accidents etc. Last year we were fully booked, to avoid any disappointments, book early.

Notes on accommodation
All apartments have air-conditioning.They are all fitted out to the same standard and all have pretty much the same features. The price includes all water and electricity costs. Fresh towels and linen are provided. A welcome pack is provided for guests to make them familiar with the Ciovo/Trogir area. Each apartment has a variety of games that guests can use throughout their stay - a chessboard, a poker chip and card set, a draughts board and jenja. Ciovo and the apartments are suitable for children. Ciovo has many interesting things to do including: diving, surfing, water skiing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, roller blading and quad biking. Also we can arrange white water rafting trips and trips to Krka Park to see the waterfalls.

Accessibility
The apartments are situated on the top floor which is the third floor of the block. Ciovo does not have any high rise complexes, thankfully. Approximately 35 steps.

Outside
All apartments feature either a terrace area or a balcony. Guests can use the outdoor BBQ, cooking the local fish, Dorada is beautiful from the BBQ. Parking is available for guests.

Coast/Beach
The beach is a 3 minute slow walk from the apartment.

Travel
Split is the nearest airport. It is 8km and takes less than 20 minutes to get to the apartments.

Car is hire is not essential. You are a 5 mins walk to the water taxi into Trogir and taxis operate right into the early hours. Hotel Vila Katrina is beside the apartments and features a great restaurant. Also the Mali Raj is the best restaurant on Ciovo. We have arranged a discount here for our guests. Ask for Astro. However, renting a car always has its advantages try 'uni-rent.net'.

Distances
Ciovo village is 10 minutes walk. Trogir is 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by water taxi. Split is 25 mins by car.

Further details
The Island of Ciovo is attached by bridge to Trogir (Medieval Town over 2500 years old). Trogir is called a 'little Venice', a town-museum of the medieval heritage. Its history goes back to the Hellenic times when it was known as Tragurion. UNESCO recognized its values and included it in the registry of the world monument heritage. Mediterranean climate. Trogir is a jewel of a walled town with a wide waterfront promenade that encloses a maze of medieval streets. Summer Music festivals with classical and folk concerts in churches and open squares. Numerous market stalls for shopping. Places of interest include: Krka National Park - wonderful waterfalls and lakes. Islands of Brac and Hvar both accessible from Ciovo. Shopping in Split. Visit the Diocletian's Palace in Split. Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Ciovo vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Enjoy the local beaches, sun and coffee shops; taste local cuisine and the great weather.

The season in Ciovo over the last few years has been getting longer. The season now starts as early as March/April and running right through to October and November. We have had many clients go over at these times of year and have really enjoyed it. We think there is a benefit for each month and it depends on what holiday experience you are looking for. For example the early months of March and April offer a relaxed quite atmosphere plus Croatia offers warm weather in comparison to the UK, Ireland, Germany etc. The high season offers very warm weather, a lively atmosphere, right in the hustle and bustle of everything. The end of the season offers the last of the summer sun, a great time to do some sightseeing and to get a feel for Croatia and its beautiful countryside. Lots of festivals take place throughout the whole year. Split offers the opera and ballet. Why not go at Easter or Mid Term breaks? Booking notes
200 euros breakage and key deposit to be given on arrival, this will be returned to you at the end of your stay. 10am checkout 3pm check in Tourist tax of approx 1 euros per day per person to be paid at tourist office. (No charge for children under 12 years; 12-18 .50 cent euro) To confirm booking half the amount is payable immediately and the remainder is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
