A traditional two bedroom stone cottage, completely renovated and refurbished in 2008. All fittings and furniture are new for 2008 holiday season. The house is full of charm yet provides all those essential elements of modern day living. The open plan lounge/kitchen has stone walls, exposed beams and terracotta tiling. This large room has a brand new oak fitted kitchen, 1 downstairs bedroom with downstairs shower room, off lounge. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom, with en-suite shower room. Outside you have a large furnished terrace off the main bedroom with rural views, plus garden, with barbecue, table and chairs. Whilst the house is set in the beautiful Istrian countryside the resorts of Porec and Rovinj and Pula are within a short scenic drive.

This house provides with the opportunity to live as part of a typical Istrian village yet within a few miles drive you can reach the busy resorts. The accommodation will provide a relaxing holiday, and you will be charmed by it and the people who live around it.

Accessibility
The ground floor bedroom and shower room mean that people who have difficulties with stairs can be accommodated.
Outside
Upstairs covered terrace from master bedroom, with wooden furniture and open views over surrounding countryside. Garden area with, table and seating for 4 people. Numerous cycleways and countrywalks right outside from house.
Coast/Beach
20 minutes scenic drive to Porec and local beaches, also service to Venice. 25 minutes to Rovinji. 45 minutes to Historic Pula. Beaches in Istria are mainly pebble, so no sand sandwiches! The water is crystal clear, with large sun terraces into the sea. There are ample opportunities to dive, sail or just relax in the sun, drinking a Gin and Tonic. We can recommend some of the best.

We can also provide excursions to many places of interest including Motovun, Grosnjan, Porec, Rovinj, Porec and Plitvice Lakes and a nature trail and lunch at Ucka nature park. Your guide will be a British couple who know the area well, and will pick you up directly from the cottage. They have a vast knowledge of the area, and will happily show you the highlights of Istria. Travel
With cheap flights provided by both Easyjet and Ryanair, Istria is easily accessible. Ryainair fly to Pula, and Trieste which are 45 and 60 minutes respectively to house. (Dependent on time of year of course). Alternatively fly into Venice, and combine a two centre holiday. We are happy to help with any travel arrangements. We can also arrange transfers from Pula airport.
Distances
Closest small town is Visnjan. Numerous cafe/bars. Supermarkets, Bank, Hairdressers and Doctors, 2 mile drive. However, we can recommend British driver who will chauffeur you to the best resturants in the area, and of course allow you to drink local wine at 40p a glass.Or provide sight seeing trips to areas of interest in the area. Further details
Watch out for our neighbours, a delightful farmer, not speaking a word of English! All the villagers are extremely caring people and will welcome you into their village as good friends! Typical Istrian hospitality.
Booking notes
When you wish to confirm booking, we require a non refundable deposit of 20%, the balance is then payable 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A security deposit of £200 is required at the same time final payment is made. The cheque will be returned to you, after our agents have checked for breakages.
