Its beauty extends outside to both the front and back gardens and the amazing sea views that can be seen from all 3 floors of the house. Landscaped gardens with a private pool (6 x 4m). There is a large covered terrace with a traditional wooden table and benches seating 10/12 people. Sun loungers, a stone BBQ and outside lighting.

Coast/Beach
8km to the picturesque Limski Kanal, a turquoise fjord, renowned for its superb seafood restaurants.
10 km to the famous resort of Porec. (Ferry service to Venice).
30 minutes drive to the wonderful sandy beaches at Portorosa in Slovenia, don't forget your passports!
15 km to Vsar marina.

Travel
Ryanair: Fly to Pula from London Stansted or to Trieste (Italy) or to Venice Treviso (also from Dublin, Shannon and Liverpool). Easyjet: Fly to Rijeka from London Luton and Bristol or to Ljubljana (Slovenia) from London Stansted.
You can also fly to Pula from all major UK airports – contact us for further information. The closest airport is Pula (25 minutes drive), followed by Rijeka (90 minutes) then Trieste, Ljubljana and Venice.

20 km to the coastal Venetian town of Rovinj.
30 km to the Brijuni National Park.

There is a local Konaba restaurant a pleasant 10 min stroll down country lanes and small shops 3 mins drive in Sv. Lovrec and Baderna for basic groceries. This property is perfectly situated to explore Istria. Historic Porec with its ancient Bascilica, harbour, restaurants, shops and beaches is only 10 minutes drive away. The medieval towns of Rovinj and Pula a respective 20 and 30 minute drive. Whilst the beautiful Limski Fjord Canal, with its amazing fish restaurants, beach and caves only 10 mins.

Booking notes
A non refundable 30% deposit of the total rental booking. The balance to be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £200 is required at time of booking to be held against any loss or damage caused to the property or its contents. You should arrange your own cancellation insurance.

When we arrived the house was immaculate. Try as we might we couldn't find a single speck of dust – perfect! The house in our opinion was really tastefully furnished – we loved your style and yes we did feel very much at home thanks. We were very pleased with the house and thought it was very well equipped especially for children. We made good use of the high chair, bed guard and travel cot. The weather was great and we remembered to water the hanging baskets so they still look lovely.

About the owner
Hi, my husband and I bought No 5 Stifanici almost 5 years ago now and we are so happy we did. Istria is one of the most picturesque and friendly places you could wish to visit and the village of Stifanici offers an insight into traditional Croatian living. We chose a quiet traditional village so we could grow to be part of the community. Our neighbours have seen our children grow and always take the time to pop and see us. We have renovated the house combining both modern facilities and the new luxury bathrooms we added in 2010 have just added to the beauty of No 5. We have lived in India for the last 3 years and now in the US but we always make a point of visiting the house each year, often spending 4-5 weeks there in the summer; we just love it and have made it a home from home!
