Coast/Beach
Dubrovnik's best beach Banje is 5 mins walk from the house. East West bar restaurant is located on the beach and offers comfortable loungers with waiter service throughout the day. You can also enjoy massages on the beach, and there are water sport offers too. There is also St Jacob's sandy beach, located 15 minutes walk. You can also take a boat (15 min ride) to Lokrum Island to enjoy more private beaches.
Travel
Dubrovnik airport, Cilipi, is 20 mins drive away. The main port is 5 minutes drive away. There is no need to hire a car when staying at the property as it is in the very centre. However, you can hire a car for day trips into Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Distances
You can use 22 The Stradun as the base to also visit Mostar, beautiful town in Bosnia and Herzegovina which is 2 hrs drive away, Budva and St Stefan in Montenegro (3 hrs drive away), or a fishing village of Ston which is also famous for its long surrounding walls, and oyster breeding. Villages around Konavle region (just outside the City) are also picturesque with some lovely local food restaurants.
