Rovinj is one of Croatia's oldest and most picturesque destinations, sitting on a rock in the Adriatic Sea. Grisia is Rovinjs most famous street, winding its way up to St Euphemia Cathedral. The cobbled walkway is lined with quiet bars, restaurants and art galleries, and each summer it hosts the internationally renowned 'Grisia Arts Festival'. Casa Grisia and Casa Cielo are two of the only apartments available to let on the street itself, and both have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The fresh, stylish apartments are set in a beautiful mediaeval building at the very heart of the Old Town. Please note that the Old Town is pedestrianised, and the closest car park is 5 minutes away. You can get everything you need within a few metres of the apartments.

Casa Cielo (Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2)

Casa Cielo is a charming, newly refurbished studio apartment. Again, in this flat, we have restored the old wooden floors and installed air conditioning, a new bathroom, and new kitchen, with microwave, hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, iron, and washer / dryer. There is a flat panel satellite TV and DVD player, with a range of English channels. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are on the second floor and, as with many of the old buildings in Rovinj, the single flight of stairs is quite steep.
Accessibility
Unfortunately, neither apartment is accessible by a wheelchair.
Outside
Set right on Grisia itself, both apartments are just footsteps from a range of galleries, restaurants and cafιs.
Coast/Beach
The apartments are just moments from the sea and many people swim from the small rocks surrounding the town. There is a beautiful shingle beach about 10 mins walk from the Old Town and many more up and down the coast.
Travel
Main airports and driving times: Pula 25 mins. Rijeka 1.5 hours. Trieste 2 hours. Venice 4 hours. Ryanair, Easyjet, and Thompson fly direct from as little as £30 return inclusive. You can take a ferry to and from Venice during the summer months, it takes just 2.5 hours.
Distances
95km to Trieste, 38km to Pula, 20km to Porec, 40km to Umag, 20km to Fasana for boats to the The Brijuni Islands.
Further details
Rovinj is filled with bars, cafιs, restaurants and galleries. There are cash machines, a small bank, grocery shops, bakeries, butchers, a fruit and vegetable market, a chemist and more. You should be able to get anything you need right in Rovinj itself.

We prefer payment by Paypal - which is fast and secure. We will send you a simple online invoice. Where this is not possible, you can send us the deposit by cheque.
Please note that there is a small one off tourist tax of 2.70, and then 1 per day in the summer. This will be collected on arrival by our agent Sanja.
