Villa Pachobel provides a high standard of accommodation in a beautiful setting with a private terrace and pool. They are situated in Viganj near Orebic on the Peljesac Peninsula, an area of outstanding beauty famous for its vineyards and some of the best beaches in Croatia. The villa has recently been sympathetically renovated and refurbished to a very high standard, and many of the original features are still in existence – including the old olive press situated on the terrace! As well as catering for those who just want to sit in the sun there are plenty of things to do for the more energetic. Excellent windsurfing and diving are on your doorstep, or you can hire a bike and explore the coast.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has private parking, air conditioning, managing agent to answer questions and provide any help or advice required.
Accessibility
The villa is on a mountain side and there are a number of steps to access the properties. These are not a problem for anyone unless they have walking difficulties, but wheelchair access is difficult. My parents in their seventies have no problems.
Outside
There is a terrace, outdoor furniture, barbecue, Pergola to provide shade, pool approx 5m x 3.5m for sole use of guests.
Coast/Beach
The beach is about 15 minutes walk downhill. Most beaches in Croatia are pebble, the water is very clean and clear.
Travel
Dubrovnik is approx 2 hours drive, Split is about 4 hours. Car hire is recommended although guests have managed without.
Distances
The nearest restaurant is 1 minute walk away and is highly recommended by previous guests. Orebic is 7km away, Korcula Town is 20 mins on the ferry. Viganj with bars, restaurants, supermarket is approximately 10 to 15 mins walk.
Further details
There are diving centres, windsurfing/kitesurfing schools, canoe hire etc. all within a 15 mins walk.

About the owner
Hi, I'm Bruce and I moved to Croatia in 2004 to renovate these two villas from stone ruins to the properties they are today. I spent 3 very eventful years living in Viganj with some very good and also hard times! Although unfortunately I've had to rejoin the rat race I love going back and catching up with friends and seeing how the area is slowly changing while still retaining its wonderful character and beautiful nature. I now live in London with my girlfriend and love travelling, snowboarding, windsurfing and kitesurfing, the last two being wonderful pursuits in Viganj!
