The many facilities of these apartments include the use of a shared pool to cool off on those long hot summer days. They are situated in the popular village of Vabriga, with the adjacent village of Tar also only a 10 minute stroll away. Both villages being well catered for with restaurants and bars. The nearby town of Porec is wonderful with beautiful coastal scenery, lively narrow streets and a wonderful cultural history. The surrounding area offers lots to see and do, with the beautiful harbour towns of Novigrad, Vsar and the stunning Venetian town of Rovinj all within 45 mins drive. You can also explore the wonderful mountain-top villages of Buje, Motovun, Buzet and Grosnan in the area known as the new Tuscany, or take a trip to Pula and visit the fantastically preserved Roman amphitheatre. Why not combine your stay with a trip to Venice which can be reached by catamaran. The trip across the Adriatic takes about 2 1/2 hours each way and sails from Porec.

Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day; however we try to be flexible where possible. Arrival is from 2pm and check out is at 10.30am.
Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is fitted in the lounge area and the apartment is suitable for couples or families. It has easy access via entryphone intercom and there is dedicated parking next to the apartment.
Outside
The shared swimming pool is 8m x 4m (approx) and loungers and chairs, kept in the dedicated basement storage area, are available for use.
The balcony has peaceful views over the adjacent countryside together with sea views from the 1st and 2nd floor apartments.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 750m away and many others are close by.
However, if you prefer an activity based holiday the resort of Lanterna is only 1.5km away. Here you can enjoy a varierty of watersports including jet skis, banana boats and pedalos. In addition, you are also able to windsurf, scuba dive and snorkel, all in the crystal clear waters.
Alternatively, why not charter a boat to view the wonderful coastline and its array of beautiful offshore islands.
Travel
There are now several easy routes with budget airlines making Istria accessible. The easiest route is to Pula from Stansted (Ryanair). This is a 45 min drive. Trieste airport in Italy is an easy 75 mins drive (Ryanair). Car hire is recommended and can easily be arranged through Ryanair. Rijeka airport is 75 mins drive (Easyjet - Luton) flying directly into Croatia. It is also possible to fly to Pula in Istria (45 mins drive) from Bristol and Gatwick with Thomson during the summer period.

The adjacent village of Tar is a 10-15 minute walk away.

Further details
There is a supermarket in the village to cater for your everyday needs. In addition there are a number of restaurants in Vabriga or the adjacent village of Tar. There is also a bank/bureau de change in Tar.
Other leisure activities nearby include horse riding, tennis and go-karting.
Booking notes
A non-refundable 20% deposit of the total rental booking is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is to be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival. Money is to be paid by cheque or electronic bank transfer. Credit card payment is not accepted and receipt of funds confirms your booking. It is advisable that you should arrange your own cancellation insurance. A £100 refundable security deposit will also apply which is to be paid with your final balance.
