'Gerberas' is a traditional Croatian stone townhouse in Hvar town, located just behind the cathedral and main square it has views of the old fortress. It is an ideal central base from which to enjoy all that Hvar Town and the island have to offer. It is literally a 2 minute walk to reach the supermarket, traditional food market, bakery, banks, car, bike and boat hire, pharmacy and other shops. The house is spread over three floors: Ground floor - kitchen/diner and spacious bathroom. First Floor - 1 double bedroom, 1 Sitting Room/Single Bedroom (with sofabed). Top Floor - Master bedroom, dressing area and shower room. The decor is clean and modern featuring original artwork.

Coast/Beach
There are a number of beaches (shingle / rocky) in and around town. There are also 'water taxis' which will take you to various bays / other smaller surrounding islands. You can also rent your own boat and explore for yourself.
Travel
Flights to Split Airport. Bus/taxi service to Split port for Catamaran direct to Hvar Town (1 hour), also service to Jelsa then bus/taxi to Hvar Town. Passenger/Car Ferry to Starigrad (1 hour 45 minutes) then bus/taxi to Hvar Town. There are also ferry services from Italy.
