Lizjnan is a small village with its own large sea bay. The beach has its own cafe/bar and play area. The clear blue water is very clean and suitable for water sports, snorkelling, sailing and swimming. Lizjnan has a superb local restaurant, bars and supermarket facilities. It is particularly suitable for off road cycling and walking routes. Close to the town of Medulin, which has its own beach, a wide range of restaurants and amenities, including bike hire, shops, horse riding a market place and a fun fair. Pula is also nearby which is of great historical interest and has other amenities such as a brilliant go karting facility. Other beaches are closeby such as the peninsula which are protected and are particularly beautiful. A wide range of other activities are available, such as caves, health spas and visiting the many islands Croatia has.

The property is suitable for children as it is on a quiet lane and the garden has two gates that can be locked. It does not have a swimming pool, but has a small paddling pool.

Coast/Beach
2km close to the beach. Approximately 15 minutes walk, two minutes by car. The beach has a grassy area suitable for sunbathing, playing games. Large bay suitable for swimming, snorkelling, sailing etc. Clear blue water containing A1 quality rating. The beach hs a rocky surround; the nearest sandy beach is in Medulin.

Travel
Pula is the closest airport. Ryanair fly direct to Pula from Stansted Airport. The apartment is 8 miles away from the airport. Car hire is preferable to benefit from all the beautiful areas to see in Croatia. Alternatively, Easyjet fly from Luton into Rijeka, which is approximately one hour drive. Directions can be given.
Distances
Medulin a vibrant town, 10 minutes drive, containing many restaurants, tourist information and hiring facilities. Pula is 15 minute drive, which has an original ampitheatre and outdoor concerts. The peninsula has outstanding natural beauty, which is fifteen minute drive. Snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and scubadiving are popular. Caves and national parks are also natural features of Istria. The area is ideal for hiking and cyling, many of which are off road.
Further details
Lizjnan has two local shops which sells bread, cereal, drinks, wine, beer, ice cream, fruit, cheese, ham, household goods. Within walking distance and are open daily, from about 8 am to 9 pm. The are two local restaurants and several bars in the village. In Medulin there are several cash machines and a bank.
Booking notes
A 10% deposit is required on booking and a full payment one month in advance of the holiday date. The bookings are finalised in England and an information pack, maps, and keys posted in England.
