Shaded terrace with large wooden table and benches, second terrace with table, chairs and parasol. Outside lighting. Parking for 4 cars. The nearest village of Sveti Lovrec is 3km away and is good for basic groceries, a post office, bar and cafe. The countryside in this part of Istria is beautiful, dotted with vineyards, fields and little hamlets. Porec, a famous Istrian coastal town rich with history and culture offers a large selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques. There are a number of beaches around Porec such as Blue or Green Lagoon (Lagunas) The Lim fjord has several restaurants offering fresh oysters, mussels and fish. A full range of sporting and leisure facilities are within easy reach and can be arranged upon request.

Notes on accommodation
Cot and highchair available. The studio and house can be rented separately or together as a whole unit. Take advantage of the lovely sunny weather in the spring and autumn. Perfect golfing weather. The house is ideal for out of season breaks. The log burner will keep you warm and cosy in the evening with oil filled electric radiators in all the bedrooms. Property is cleaned once per week together with a weekly linen change. Mid week towel change also included. More frequent cleaning can be arranged upon request at a competitive hourly rate. Please supply your own pool and beach towels.

Outside
Landscaped gardens with private pool shared between the house and the studio. The house has a large shaded terrace with wooden table and benches, second sunny terrace with table, 6 chairs and parasol, sun loungers. The studio has its own private terrace with table and chairs. Outside lighting and shared barbecue. Parking for 4 cars.

Coast/Beach
5km to the Lim fjord. 12km to Vsar marina. 17km to the coastal resort of Porec. 20km to the coastal resort of Rovinj. 30km to the Brijuni National Park. 34km to Kempinski golf club near Umag.

Golf
There is a terrific new golf club near Umag which was opened in August 2009. It is approx 30mins drive from the house. Beautifully designed it is set in a valley with an abundance of lakes and mature trees. 5 tee positions for each hole gives you a different course to play when you want variation. The new clubhouse offers spa facilities and childrens play areas.

Travel
Ryanair flights to Pula (approx 30 mins transfer). Trieste airport - Italy (90 mins drive) with Ryanair. Ljubljana airport - Slovenia (approx 90 mins) - Rijeka airport - Croatia (90 mins) from Luton with Easyjet. Ryanair and Easyjet also fly to Venice with forward travel by catamaran to Porec during the season. Further details available from owner. Car hire needed.

There is another golf course on Brijuni National Park near Pula.Cycling is extremely popular in this region for clubs, groups and individuals. For those interested in diving, you can explore 12 major wrecks, underwater cliffs and hidden caves which are home to many species of fish, crabs and plants. Try one of the many cruises along the coastline or even charter your own boat. The area is steeped in history from the Roman amphitheatre in Pula (which hosts various concerts, ballet and other events) to the World Heritage site in Porec.

Booking notes
10% non refundable deposit confirms the booking. 30% to be paid 8 weeks before arrival and the balance (60%) to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. Payment will be via bank transfer in Pounds or Euros to specified accounts.
