Just minutes from Coussac Bonneval farmhouses is the charming town of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, founded during Roman times and boasting a wealth of medieval architecture. The old streets are particularly atmospheric, while the gothic collegiate church of Saint-Yrieix is very impressive, resembling more a city cathedral.
