Garden at the front and back, dining furniture and a big umbrella at the front of the bungalow. 2 sun lounge chairs in yellow, which is very comfortable and you can sit under the umbrella if it is too hot. Free use of a private shared swimming pool at The Beach House by the sea. This is a fantastic facility as you can swim in the sea or pool and then sunbathe to the sound of the sea. The Beach House serves coffee, lunch and dinner from 11am. We highly recommend to stay for the sunset as this is spectacular. We can recommend the wrap sandwich and share it between two, depending how hungry you are. You can stay all day as there is toilet facilities as well. Read a good book in the shade or in the sun. There is plenty of shade for the little ones as well. Just to the left of the Beach Club there is great swimming with no corals and just sand under your feet. The supermarket have wonderful muffins if you want to go over the road to buy some.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful Sandy Lane beach is only 5 minute walk away. You can walk for hours on the beach ( depending on the tide). There is also a nice beach from the Beach Club to walk or swim from which is about 3 minutes walk. It is a very relaxing way to walk on the beach to Paynes Bay and back which takes about 2 hours or just sit and watch the sea and listen to the waves. You can also walk or jog at the nine hole golf club (close by) which takes about 2 hours as well depending how fast you walk.

Golf
5 minutes drive to world famous Sandy Lane golf course and other golf courses are within easy reach. Waking distance to the 9 hole Sandy Lane course where you can see the green monkeys and it is hardly no one there. Very relaxing and old fashion (in a good way).

Special interest holidays
Take your pick of swimming, sailing, snorkeling, golfing, a day at the races, watch polo, horse riding on the beach, tennis, walking, diving or just relax in the tropical sun on the nearby beaches. Tax-free shopping in Holetown at walking distance. The quality of diving in Barbados rivals any to be found in the Eastern Caribbean. There are several golf and polo clubs open to the public on the island. National Trust has one open day a week in high season at different houses which is a must! Please check at Barbados event calendar. Bottom Bay on the Atlantic side is worth a visit. If you are interested in flowers visit the Flower Forest. Spend a glorious day aboard a luxury catamaran, swimming with the turtles. Go exploring off-the-beaten-track with Island Safari Tours. Or visit an old plantation house, mingle with the monkeys at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Explore the underground wonders of Harrison's Cove. There are so much to do so you will never get bored!

Travel
The airport is about 25 mins away depending on the traffic. It is not necessary to rent a car as everything is on your doorstep. However it is always interesting to explore the island with a car to allow you a glimpse of the east and north coast which has spectacular scenery of the Atlantic.

We recommend to see the Atlantic side as this is totally different from the calm west coast. This is a surfers paradise.

Distances
Holetown is about a 10 minutes walk away. The new Limegrove shopping centre with restaurants etc is also within walking distance and have Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton,Cartier, art gallery, cinema, nightclub, fitness centre and so much more. You are surrounded by excellent amenities. Speightstown is a bus, taxi or drive away and Bridgetown the same. Just be aware of the traffic in the mornings and afternoons as people are going into work in Bridgetown or after when they have finished the job.

Further details
Level walking distance to wonderful shops, supermarket, banks, post office, taxis, pharmacy, 24-hours medical centre, police station, newsagent, coffee bars, gym, video rental, beach bars and fabulous restaurant in romantic waterside settings all close by and within walking distance. You can choose from exclusive dining to simple beach bars.
Visit Brigetown and Speightstown on the bus, good fun.
You need a car if you would like to go to the Atlantic side which is worth a visit. When you book we will give you a list of websites of places of interest, restaurants etc.
