The entrance to the cottage has a paved courtyard with seating and room for appropriate outside entertainment. The perfumed flower garden borders the gazebo at the front of the cottage and invites a variety of birds and butterflies which dine at the surrounding birdfeeders. The gazebo offers a spectacular view of the sunset, and a relaxing environment for mealtimes. At the back of the cottage, there is the Captain's loft in the in the middle of the natural vegetation. This offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the most magnificent sunset ever.

The cottage is located 2-5 minutes walk from all the beaches in Castara, and a short drive to neighbouring English Man's Bay. This fishing village offers snorkeling, diving and sailing as well as access to waterfalls and rivers. The village has a number of restaurants and bars that provide a taste of local cuisine.
