High tech TV and sound system to watch DVD’s or stream your film/favourite TV series or music from your Apple devices; portable I-pod docking system. Villa opposite the stunning Mullins Beach, guests have membership of Royal Westmoreland Beach Club, so use of luxury beach beds, towels and waiter service from beach bar/restaurant and members deck. The Spa, pool, and gym are also available as is access to Sugar Hill with flood lit tennis courts, pool and gym. Golf minutes drive away with renown Sandy Lane and Royal Westmorland courses.

Notes on accommodation
Spacious 4 bedroom/ 4 bathroom house. Interior specification to a high standard. Designed for guests to relax and enjoy. We are delighted when guest return.
Accessibility
Having Accommodation set over ground and two upper floors. Wheelchair/limited mobility access is possible (ground floor bedroom) but there are two steps both at the front and rear access.
Outside
The living room, positioned at entry level, opens on to the patio, which provides casual seating and dining areas, and overlooks the private courtyard, small garden and plunge pool. The spacious terrace provides both a comfortable area with shade for reading and relaxation (ceiling to floor curatins can be drawn for extra shade) and a dining area to enjoy evening meals. The courtyard also offers a suntrap with sun beds for private sunbathing. There is a large gas BBQ. Guests have use of a semi private pool located just outside the courtyard gate as well as two further larger pools. There is a lockable gate between the courtyard and the pool to allow peace of mind for parents with young children. There is also a pool at the Spa.
At the front of the Villa is private space for 2 cars.(rental cars can be delivered directly to the Villa to save your time!)
The Villa is in a gated community and is fully guarded 24 hours a day by security guards.
Coast/Beach
The villa is less than a 2 minute walk, through lush tropical gardens on a secure private pathway, to the stunning Mullins Beach on the West Coast of Barbados. Membership of the Royal Westmorland Beach Club is included. Waterskiing, banana boating, glass bottom boat, turtle watching and many other activities are available from Mullins Beach. Golf
The property is located within easy reach of Sandy Lane (4.5 miles), Royal Westmoreland (2 miles) and Apes Hill golf courses.
For cheaper golf there is also the Barbados Golf club.
Our managing agent can pre arrange tee off times, etc given adequate notice.
Travel
The only airport is Grantley Adams International Airport which is at the south of the island. It is about a 45 minutes drive. Our agent will manage your booking and arrange for ‘meet and greet’, car hire, etc
Distances
There is a petrol station a 5 minute walk from the house for milk and other essentials. The nearest shopping is Speightstown which is about a 5 minute drive A more upmarket supermarket is a 10 minute drive away in Holetown, which is also the location of the new Lime Grove shopping mall for international designer shopping, coffee shops and gourmet food shops. There are local fish markets both in Speightstown and on the way to Holetown where freshly catch local fish can be purchased daily.
Further details
Barbados is a diverse Island; there are nature reserves and plantation houses to be explored and many different beaches. There are catamaran boat trips to swim with the turtles and water skiing. Snorkel and scuba diving is also available. There is a very large range of restaurants from low end to fine dining.
The Mullins Beach Restaurant serves simple bar snacks during the day, and a la carte dining in the evening.

Please book by contacting owner. After that our ‘on island’ managing agent (the largest real estate agents on the Island) will take over and look after you from booking until the end of your stay. They have a representative on Site to meet and greet you on your first day, get groceries (if requested) and to help ensure your say runs smoothly. She will give you any advice you need on what to do in Barbados.

About the owner
We live in Cheshire. Both my husband and I have worked in jobs that required much commitment and the requirement for overseas travel. The sunshine and ‘laid back’ tempo of Barbados has always managed to relax us so we get back to work in the UK feeling happy and energised. We are now adjusting our working lives to be able to spend more time on the Island. We hope that you get as much pleasure in spending time in our Villa as we do!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We have been coming back to Barbados with our children for our holidays for many years and adore it so much that we finally decided it was time to buy our little bit of ‘paradise’. We love it there because Barbados has something for everyone. It has the all year round sun, the warm, blue Caribbean sea, but it also has the golf courses, water sports and many very high quality restaurants. We also find it convenient that there is a direct flight from Manchester as well as from Gatwick which gives us more flexibility and we can maximize our time in the sun!
Unique benefits of the property
We love the space and convenience of the house- the perfect combination for both beach and pool lovers (the technology also caters to those who, like my husband, prefer to stay inside). The on site Spa offers many treatments and a recently refurbished fitness centre. At the Royal Westmorland Beach Club you are greeted by beach ambassadors who escort you to a sun lounger with towels and parasols and often cold flannels. Additionally you get a yellow flag to raise in the sand for someone to take your food/drink order!. It is a real bonus having dinner on the beach front and only a couple of minutes stroll away from home. We also particularly love to sit out in our plunge pool in late afternoon with a cocktail, relaxing and chatting about the events of the day. A fantastic way to relax!
