Terrace has sea view and leads on to private 35 foot pool, gazebo. and large landscaped private garden, with banana and cocunut trees which can be picked when in season. House is fenced all around.

Coast/Beach
Property is on Atlantic coast - sea front is 150 yards from house with stunning views, and scenic beaches are within 5-10 mins walk. Sea swimming is available but can be strong currents. Crane beach is close by and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Sam Lords beach is 10 mins walk. Accra beach is on the Caribbean sea and is more suitable for most swimmers and is 20 mins drive.

Golf
20 mins drive to The Barbados Golf Club (top class international 18-hole golf course). 15 mins drive to water park.

Travel
Grantley Adams International airport is 15 mins drive.
Car hire is recommended if beaches and sight seeing required, although there is a regular local bus service.

Distances
Corner shop is within 5 mins walk and sells most daily provisions.

Further details
Property is situated between Sam Lord's Castle and Crane Hotel, two of Barbados' most scenic landmarks and beaches. Gentle sea breeze keeps temperature cool at night. Lots of scenic walks available locally.

About the owner
Hi - I built the house six years ago now after falling in love with the Island and this particular location. The sea view is lovely, the walks are great, and the breeze is wonderful. An old University friend of mine who runs his own construction company designed it using a localy renowned architect, then built it in six months. The pool was cut out of sheer coral rock and was the longest part of the construction. We regularly visit from London to recharge batteries and gulp in the fresh sea air. However being by the sea, the house requires a lot of maintenance so my holidays are usually spent at the top of a ladder or down the local hardware shop! We hope you enjoy the villa as much as we do - we frequently get repeat guests so look forward to welcoming you back soon!
