Flights from London normally on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays but at present we are flexible on changeover days.

Also utility room with washing machine and dryer plus separate shower room/loo. Both units can be let together to give 4 double bedrooms plus both have double sofa beds in lounge area but each unit comfortably sleeps only 4 adults. Children can be accommodated. |

Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms are air conditioned & all rooms have ceiling fans. The whole property benefits from a cooling breeze most of the year so we sleep generally without air con. Both units are furnished and equipped to a high standard. For further information see website www.forebago.com

Wheelchair access is possible on the Ground floor unit - 40a with wide doorways inside.

Outside
The spacious wooden deck around the pool has several sunbeds and tables. The patio has a large round dining table and can accommodate 8. There is a family sized bar b que for outside dining.
Coast/Beach
A mile long beach is a 5 min walk from our villa, on the Atlantic side and a white sand Caribbean beach less than 10 mins drive on the other side of the Island. Hire a car or take a guide to see the beautiful secluded beaches and protected rain forest with waterfalls and mountains.
Golf
Overlooking the 5th green makes for entertaing breakfasts! The Senior's Tournament has been held on the championship course 3 years running. Golf clubs are available for hire at the pro shop. A round of golf, including buggy is approximately £35 but packages are available.
Special interest holidays
Excellent Diving. Several diving schools operate. Dive school on the resort can instruct to PADI. Kitesurfing available at Pigeon Point (10 mins drive from us) plus windsurfing. Great snorkelling at many bays and from the Dive Centre at Coco Reef Hotel.
Travel
Flying time around 8 hours from Gatwick, direct with Virgin, or British Airways. BMI (from Manchester) and First Choice Aiways (London) tel 0871 200 7799 fly to Barbados and LIAT will fly you on to Tobago (also 2 centre hols possible). Monarch due to fly direct shortly tel 0871 423 8642 replacing XL for cheapest flights. Transfer to Airport 10 minutes.
Distances
Self catering is not a problem with excellent butcher at the farm 5 mins away and a couple of supermarkets plus some excellent restaurants, especially seafood. Or buy fish from the stall at the end of our beach or on Stonehaven Beach and bar b que it.

Currency is Tobago dollar which is roughly 10 to the £
US Dollars are accepted.

Please email to arrange booking direct with us or through Tobago Plantations Limited and ask for "Pelican Point" villa but the rental cost will be greater as they have overheads to cover etc.

First impressions - great design villa, friendly taxi driver, eating outside, golf for some, beaching for others, fishing, sailing, snorkelling, exploring the Island, so many beaches to choose from, watching the birds feeding at tea time at "old colonial" Arnos Vale - and just reading, returning home relaxed."

About the owner
We loved Tobago and after our third annual holiday there bought our villa. As we were only able to use it a couple of times a year we decided to share it with others in the hope that they would get pleasure from it also - and to help cover the maintenance costs!
Most of our family have now stayed there and everyone gets something different out of Tobago - my brother who always has to be doing something mostly golf and sailing, our eldest daughter who loves diving and has just been wreck diving in there, our youngest who needed peace and quiet for her dissertation and friends who just sat by the pool to recuperate and read -but all have said it like a home from home.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Tobago is the Carribean unspoilt just 8 hours from Gatwick on a direct flight.
Tobago has the oldest rainforest in the Western Hemisphere to explore, bird life like nowhere else, you can buy fish off the beach direct from the Fishermen and life is generally at a gentle pace.
