Welcome to the home of the Palmetto Point Lighthouse, the only charted lighthouse vacation home in the Bahamas. Stroll miles of beautiful romantic pink sand beaches, away from the tourist crowds. Get to know the Out Islands of the real Bahamas, and meet some of the friendliest people in the world. The Palmetto Point Lighthouse is not a cottage or a bungalow, but a full size totally appointed home, with three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom with king size bed and French doors, opens to a patio that overlooks the ocean. The master bath has a six foot whirlpool. The central space is a skylight great room, which contains both living and dining areas, as well as a fully appointed kitchen. All amenities are provided, including wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and television. A separate laundry room houses a washer and dryer. DSL internet service is available for an additional charge.

Changeover day
If a new arrival is due on your departure date, please be prepared to leave the house by 12 noon. This will allow enough time to have the house cleaned for the new arrival.

Golf
"Cotton Bay Club" features a Robert Trent Jones designed 18 hole course. The Club is less than an hour's drive from the house.
Travel
The nearest airport is Governor's Harbour, airport code (GHB). A car hire is essential. Arthur Nixon, the care-taker, has rental cars and is located at the Governor's Harbour airport. Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due when you arrive. DSL internet service is available for an additional charge of $50 U.S. per week.
