This newly renovated fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment has its own patio, garden and access to owner’s pool. The interior is modern, light and spacious with a fully fitted kitchen and air-conditioning in both the bedroom and living area. Apart from Barbados’s beautiful beaches, restaurants and nightlife, don’t miss out on some of the special events and activities held on this Caribbean island such as the Crop-Over Carnival, Jazz Festival, Holders Season, cricket, horse racing Gold Cup, Barbados auto racing, deep sea fishing, polo, jeep safari trips, horse riding, scuba diving, and much much more. Our aim is to give our guests all the comforts of home, so that they can relax in the privacy of the apartment and enjoy our beautiful island as much as we do.

Notes on prices
Prices quoted are for 2 people, per week in UK pounds. Please contact us for prices per day.
There is a charge of £15 per night for an extra person. Our terms are very reasonable – we only require a 20% deposit to reserve your dates with the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Money can be paid by online transfer to a UK account or by cheque to a UK or Barbados address. Contact owners for details of cancellation policy. All enquires are answered within 24 hours.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. The apartment will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. If the apartment is not let before or after your arrival these times may be varied by prior arrangement.

| Living Rooms: | Light, spacious living room, air conditioning, sofa bed for 3rd person, dining table and chairs, fan, PC with printer and broadband internet access, 32” HD cable TV with DVD player, telephone, books, games and detailed info pack. Private patio and garden. |

Cleaning is provided prior to arrival and on a weekly basis. Linen is changed weekly and bathroom and poolside towels twice a week. |

Notes on accommodation
No smoking is allowed inside the apartment although guests may smoke on their private terrace if they wish. The owner's pool is for use of paying guests only.
To make your stay with us more comfortable and tailored to your needs, further facilities are available for hire at a daily rate. These include a gas barbecue, large library of DVDs, ipod docking station, pay-as-you-go cell phone, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler boxes, floats. This ground-floor apartment is situated in a no-through road in a quiet residential area.
Accessibility
The accommodation is on the ground floor level although there is a small step into both the kitchen and bathroom. There are also steps leading to the pool.
Outside
The apartment has its own patio and garden with table and chairs, umbrella, and loungers. There is also a washing line. A barbecue is available for weekly hire if required. Guests are free to use the owners pool which is approximately 19 ft x 9 ft and situated at the rear of the property. Table tennis and darts are available on request. These facilities are strictly for use of paying guests only.
Coast/Beach
The west coast is just one mile from the apartment. Paynes Bay is the nearest beach but there are many beautiful beaches along the west coast as well as shops, banks, restaurants and bars. Holetown, which is approximately 2.5 miles away, offers beach bars, sun beds, water sports, etc. A nice place to spend the day relaxing on the beach.
Golf
The famous Sandy Lane golf course is just a 5 minutes drive from the apartment and there are other international standard golf courses on the island.
Travel
Grantley Adams International Airport is approximately 13 miles away. Car hire is advisable. There is plenty of parking available at the property. The accommodation is centrally located giving easy access to all parts of the island.
Distances
Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, is approximately 5 miles away. The nearest town is Holetown which is 2.5 miles away. Barbados is just 166 sq miles, 21 miles x 14 miles, so everywhere is within easy reach.
Further details
Warrens, one of the largest shopping areas on the island, is just a 5 minutes drive. You will also find take-away restaurants, a 24-hour gaming restaurant, banks and a petrol station at Warrens. There is a local cafe just a short walk away. There is an information pack in the apartment with details of all the activities and places of interest on the island. The owners are also available to advise and assist with booking trips and evening entertainment. St Johns church is only a 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
Booking notes
Email enquires are welcome. Bookings will only be confirmed when a 20% deposit has been received. The balance to be received 4 weeks prior to arrival. Money can be by cheque to a UK or Barbados address, by bank transfer to a UK or Barbados bank, or by PayPal.
Guest comments
We stayed with Bill and Chris at their lovely holiday apartment. It had everything we could wish for with a really nice en-suite and patio. Bill and Chris couldn't have been nicer and are so helpful. The apartment is a short drive away from the West Coast beach. There are lovely bars and restaurants very nearby if you don't feel like cooking after a really hard day enjoying the sunshine. Make sure that you ask Bill and Chris the name of the bistro where you can sit and enjoy a cold beer or cocktail while you watch the sunset. Not to be missed. Fantastic. We would definitely go again. Had a great time, great service from Bill and Chris picked up from the airport and made to feel very welcome, lovely new apartment very clean and spacious nice pool to cool down in after a hot day sight seeing ,close to lovely beaches.

About the owner
We retired to Barbados in July 2008. I am English and my husband Bill is Barbadian. After being in the RAF for 22 years, he decided he wanted to return home to Barbados. Who was I to argue with a chance to live in this beautiful island?

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We viewed many properties in Barbados, looking for a pleasant residential area, not too overcrowded, but central to all amenities, and most importantly, not too far from the sea. We have not been disappointed with our choice of location.
Unique benefits of the property
We refurbished our house and an apartment for our friends and relatives. The apartment is now also available for rent to others who are looking for a home away from home in paradise. As we live on the premises we are here to ensure that our guest have everything they need to enable them to enjoy their holiday and this wonderful island as much as we do.
